George Washington sacrificed more to free this country then anyone. He Served as the Commander and Chief for 8 years during the war. Leaving everything he had and not seeing it for all that time. He then was appointed as the President for another 8 years serving his country. I deeply love and respect this man.

I agree! He was one of the most selfless men this world has ever seen.
In light of being taught the cherry tree myth as fact in the public school system, I found it inspiring and humbling to learn that the man was truly greater than the myth.
And how many people when offered the opportunity to be king would turn it down? He was truly a great man.
