Loved it! Here's the review I made:
Wow, I really loved this book. I was a little skeptical at first when I heard Sydney was going to be the main character. I mean, don't get me wrong, I thought Sydney was cool but I didn't really like her that much. That got changed by Bloodlines! I respect her a lot more now. She obviously hasn't got the best childhood and I think she's grown up much faster than many others her age. I wouldn't could stand living with her father! I'm glad Mead dived into her childhood which describes and explains many things about why she is, the way she is today. She's obviously not at all selfish, the way she keeps sacrificing herself for others.
And I looooooved there was much more Adrian in this! I've always been Team Dimitri but that was more because I thought he'd be better for Rose than Adrian. Adrian has always been one of my favorite characters and I came to love him even more, which I didn't think was possible. I really hope Adrian and Sydney get together, so he can get over Rose and he can show Sydney the fun of life.
As for Lee I had him suspected from the start even though he seemed nice. I can't really figure if he's always been like that or he was changed after he became Moroi again. I mean, Dimitri wasn't himself after he became Dhampir again and that might have been the case with Lee too. I think he got what he deserved and he was obviously sick, so maybe it was better for him to stop his suffering.
I screamed at the end. I already knew the last sentence but I jumped all over anyway.
