Steal This Book
question
*** Which type of e-reader??? ***
I'm adraid Abbie left that chapter out of his book, but here's some solid advice for you:
By law the US government is required to give out free e-readers to people who can prove that they have a disability that prevents them from reading printed paper. What you need to do is to write a letter to U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, DC and request a free e-reader. Make up some severe disability (instanity is a good one, as it won't require you to physically harm yourself if they happen to check up on your story), and give them your neighbors post address. They take about 2-3 months to process your request, after which you'll need to be on a look-out for a FedEx courier coming to your neighbor. When he comes, stop him before he reaches your neighbor, and explain that you are the caretaker of the premises. Sign for the package with a fake name ("Abbie Hoffman" will do well!). You've just got yourself a free e-reader!

no, that doesn't count, you didn't *steal* the E-reader like you were supposed to. Fraudulently obtaining one from the Gummint under false pretexts is certainly admirable and commendable, but it still doesn't count as "stealing", which is what you're *supposed* to be doing.
Just downloading the E-book without paying for it somewhere does qualify, though. You're definitely ripping off the Evil Crapitalist Publisher (not to mention evil capitalist Abbie, though he's too dead to complain) so *that* gets your ticket punched.
I just stole mine right out of a college bookstore in 1968. Neener neener neener...
