Nah, just me failing to use technology. Hang on, scriptwriter? I'm wounded. I'm not a character. Sobbing, yet more sobbing now occurring.
So, do I have to be approved by Rosemary to see this review or is it a rating without review? Either way, thanks! Assuming you didn't slip on your mouse aiming for the one star.
Whaaaa? Figment of my imagination, or someone who posted on the previous page (and yesterday to say she'd kindly bought my book).Just how much of this have I imagined?
Is Gingerlily the only thing that's real? COULD I BE THAT CURSED? Mwwwhahahahahahahah! Sorry Miss Lily.
Oh right - now you're getting me confused. I am fairly sure I'm real, but I do seem to be rather out of step with the rest of reality. I seem to be pulling you into my little world... or is it the other way round. Oh dear, this is not helping me work. Just you try to combine metaphysics with COBOL...
Ah, I can see it if I go through your profile, but not if I go to the book's page. Is it a privacy settig you have, or something?Great little review though, and I am humbled (I really am, for all my blather and bluster on here), that you enjoyed it enough to read so quickly.
Thank you so much!
Hehe Gingerlily it's like we're all carrying on a different conversation. Interdimensional communication is always tricky huh
Hah, I did that over lunch (which was actually breakfast). Next challenge?COBOL.I know/knew COBOL. Shudder. I refused to get into it after leaving college though, even with the millenium bug jobs paying well at the time.
Who's Dan Thornton and why am I now his friend on here? Not that I'm complaining, just listing factual questions that relate to this sudden, unexpected development.
This site is really screwed up today - I'm having lots of problems. Like some strange influence is shorting bits of it out...

I don' t know why the review is a bit shy Jim, perhaps it'll come out later.
Hi Jim. As to what to do next - never fear. When I have finished with your estimable volume (turn that racket down!) - I'm at 48% now - I shall recommend it on Amazon's Meet Our Authors forum. You may wish to try this for yourself and open an author thread there. (Or you might wish to pull your fingernails out - it's a scary old world, Amazon!)I've already told the world - with an Amazon link - on the Amazon Kindle Forum, in the Just finished, Just started thread that I think you're shaping up well - or at least, the book is!
Hey, the experience might turn sour for the next 52%...the bubblewrap's in there somewhere. Talk of recommendation may turn to retribution for time wasted ;)Maybe I could follow up with an arrival on the Amazon forums after you've blazed a trail for me? I fear creating a thread there, to only hear the squelch of the sucking morass that is the volume of threads/posts swallowing my thread.
But, crumbs, if you're linking it arond, I really need to get my finger out with the typos and mistakes you've spotted!
I am waiting for my train. . . As soon as it arrives and I sit down your book will be opened and reading will commence.
I'll be genuinely gutted if you don't like it Gingerlily. Do speak your mind though, I can take it. (Note: I'm already crying)I'd like to know what Rosemary thought about a certain group of "characters" that turn up late on. A mate of mine said I'd lose people at that point...
I'd better get off my bum and finish it then. Yep, I'll trail blaze for you. Follow me!(Where am I?)

Do you mean the blue guys? I have no problem with them, other than some slightly disturbing mental images ( trying to be a bit circumspect here to avoid spoiler type action) Surely not the gang of four!!? Theyre not that late on anyway...
No, definitely your first guess. "Too far, man! Too far" said my mate.I laughed in his face*
* I mean, I agonised for days about changing it. Decided not to.
If they're funny, I may not revise them out in a later edition ;)

Darren is one of our prize authors, Darren Humphries. He has several books out, which are very popular in this group, and he has a very similar sense of humour to you - or you to him... Check out To Infinity and, well all his others!

Not liking this use of "other"? Tamed me have you? Yes. Yes you have...

Lol! They've tamed us all, Jim!
They have us at: 'Your book......'
