Does the blurb qualify for the description? Also, what are valid sources for cover images? I know that Amazon isn't anymore, but what about e.g. libri.de, a German online bookstore?

Yes the blurb is a good description.

We aren't allowed to use any bookseller for the covers.

bomots's website doesn't list this book anymore, unfortunately, so we'll have to do without a cover for now.

Hunh. That's new. It's always been that anyone could manually add a new book to the database. Perhaps Rivka will have an answer when she returns.

It changed about the same time as the verification requirement, and like it, is an anti-spam measure. IIRC, once you've been an active member for awhile, even if you never request librarian status, you gain the ability to manually add books.

I apologize, and I know it's annoying for new users (especially those who happen to have a list of books that are not already on GR), but at one point we were getting something like 100 new spam "books" added per day, despite a number of anti-spam measures we had previously put in place.
