Loved the ending of the series, the first couple books were hard for me to get through because the storyline wasn't as strong as I had heard. But the last 2 books make it all worth it!

I think it took me about 2 weeks because the first three weren't like AMAZING but the endings always sucked me in and made me pick up the next one.

After the first I think they got better and better, that may just be because Adrian became more of a main character.
I love these books :D Probably some of the best vampire books I have read. I love Adrian. I can't wait for the release of The Golden Lily. Have any of you read Bloodlines?
I don't get how there are so many people that love Adrian character, I mean he is a drunk-junkie and whatever troubled guy. How can someone prefer that to the sexy-badass-responsible-reckless-experienced Dimitri?????Seriously, HOW???
i agree with susana adrian isnt mature enough for rose (shes crazy and needs someone to keep her on the ground)
That is a really good point you know. For me I think it originally had a lot to do with him being the underdog. I mean, you just know he has no chance against Dimitri. That always pulls my heart strings. I think when I found out that he really did love Rose and that he is a nice guy, willing to do anything (including giving up all his vices) for the girl that he loves. I think that's really sweet. But I honestly don't know why I like Adrian as much as I do. I would have to read the books again to find out. Haha. But he really is a nice guy.

Don't know if it's good enough, I mean I loved Vampire Academy so much that I'm afraid of being disappointed...
I have read Bloodlines and am eagerly awaiting the release of the second book. I would definitely recommend giving it a shot. I love it just as much as I love the Vampire Academy series. Although it is set in the same world it is a totally new story with kind of new characters. It's really fun to see everything through Sydney's POV because she is so different from Rose and she's also human. But yes, really good and different in a good way. You should definitely give it a go! :D
I only just started Shadow Kiss today and finished Frostbite today and Vampire Academy yesterday. These books seriously have captivated me and I can't wait to pick up the next books once I'm done. They're such a fun read

Thanks :)
I will! Actually I liked Sidney in Vampire Academy, she seems very anti-vampire-world and I'm guessing that it's going to be funny!
vampire academy is clearly one of the most fascinating vampire books series. the books are interesting, with quick-pace plot and the main character, rose, earns your sympathy from the first moment. i stiil remember my tears over the last books, but they were totally worth it

I felt stupid but I cried when Rose couldn't find the old Dimitri in himself when he had turn Strigoi
:o) Just joined!
Love the whole series to bits, especially the last one cuz Rose has a real challenge with renewing her ties with Dimitri (one drool-worthy tortured hero)... I think they are the books you can read over and over again.
I'm really excited about the Bloodlines series, have read the first one. It gives an entire new dimension to the world of Vampire Academy (especially because it is not set there now) and Syrney is so different to Rose. As long as we still see Rose throughout this new series I'll bet it will be just as good as VA for me! :o)

I love the entire series to bit.. Was Rose and Dmitri the entire way. However later when I started to read about Sydney I felt bad for writing off Adrian so completely. I do think him and Sydney are great together though :) Loved VA. - Skye
