Hello! I'm new!

Hello all,

I'm new to the group and not exactly sure if this is where I should post this, but I just wanted to say hello and formally introduce myself before I start posing away! My name is Krystal, I'm 28, and I LOVE reading! My favorite genre of movies are romantic comedies and my taste for books runs along the same lines. I am a Christian but I completely appreciate the "sweet but secular " theme of the group! Look forward to getting to know you all, and to build up my library :)

Yes. Glad I don't have to explain myself. Suppose you all know what it's like to skip through half of a book because of the graphic details. As far as I'm concerned, once the deed is done, the romance is over!

HEllo to all. My name is JoAnne and I read as much as possible. I love mysteries (not thrillers), and clean romances, mostly Regencies. I've gotten to the point where I don't even pick up a book if the cover has the woman's dress halfway off. They may as well title it This Book is About Sex. (haha).....

That's so true, JoAnne. It's a good thing we "can" tell a book by its cover! :) Save's a lot of discarded books!

That's so true. I went to library today, I love clean romances but all the books in the romance section were full of half naked men and women. Didn't even pick them up!! =)

When I was nearly finished with the cover design for my book, I was so pleased with it and showed it to an author friend of mine. He said (unconvincingly) that it was nice, but it needed something to hint at the love story at the core. I struggled with that for a while and then went ahead with what I had. I figured the product description would be enough to draw the readers I wanted. In a sense, an author is trying to sell a representation of herself. I didn't want to be associated with a naked lady! I am much happier and can keep my dignity intact with

Cannot express how happy I am to have found a bunch of like-minded ladies who will also appreciate it!

Hey, Im new! Thank you so much for forming this group! When I complained to one of my teachers that a book we had to read was too graphic, he told me that that was what real life was. It made me so happy to find a group that strives to keep their minds clean with all of the dirt that goes on around us in this world.
