SubterraneanCatalyst (thelazyabsentmindedreviewer) | 1 comments I say this because I joined today- and there are almost no posts in here, no moderator and I bet everyone joined and wandered off and haven't returned since....
Umm I have combo ADD+ADHD. It's a lot of fun! (not)
Anyway hello, I can read a lot and often because it is in fact something I adore. If it weren't I wouldn't' be able to get through a book ever.

Robyn (robynpat) | 1 comments I know exactly what you mean. Of course, I have a very bad habit of starting a book and then getting my attention drawn to another and then start that book. :)

Ʈʜэ MɐÐɲΣ§Ꭶ ᏊརƭᏲƗϞ (death_of_the_rebelz) ADHD is the same things as ADD but with hyperactivity. You can't have a mix of them both you can either have one or the other.

Trina Dixon | 7 comments Oh yeah David B. Sudderth/Joseph Kandell "Adult ADD the com Complete Handbook"

Ʈʜэ MɐÐɲΣ§Ꭶ ᏊརƭᏲƗϞ (death_of_the_rebelz) I have never read that.

Trina Dixon | 7 comments It's pretty basic, a place to start.

Trina Dixon | 7 comments Does anyone else get the feeling that "the whole world has slowed down just for me" after taking the stimulants.....

Jay Rose (jrose2878) | 2 comments im glad im not the only one! Goodreads has been a lifesend. I read five to six books at the same time and goodreads helps me keep track of where i am in all of them and reminds me of the ones that i havent finished.

Enid | 7 comments I found out I had ADD about 18 years ago. It was good to know why I had so many issues like starting a project and not finishing it, and oh, all the clutter...

Yes! Exactly the same for me. I have started tons of books in 2016 and finished none of them

Enid | 7 comments Anna, I wrote an ebook called, Life with ADD: Ain't it Grand. It's an illustrated, short and honest portrayal of my life. I think you'd enjoy it. Here's a piece from the book:
…Without a routine, though hard I try
to declutter my life, things go awry.
Where items belong can be a mystery
and if I forget where I put them
they are history.

Anna Solana | 2 comments I'll try to find it as an ebook. I've been recently diagnosed and I'm still trying to understand, on one hand it's been a relief and everything makes a lot of sense now but on the other hand I still have lots of doubts and at times I feel I might not have it and that I might be just looking for "excuses", I can go quite hard on myself sometimes.

Enid | 7 comments Anna, I know when you first get diagnosed with ADD it can be bewildering. A good book to read is Delivered from Distraction by Dr. Edward Hallowell. Be kind to yourself. Having ADD isn't easy, but you'll figure it out.
