Who would you like to see play Matthew in the movie, if one were made?
Honestly i think that Matthew should be played by Ian Somerholder....because he is just so cute and fits the vampire and age image....
Matt Bomer. He's spot on with Matthew's description and who I throughout both books. More importantly, he's an excellent actor.

Oh, I think Aidan Turner, of BBCA's Being Human & The Hobbit, would awesome! So would Chris Hemsworth! My first thought was Aidan Quinn, but he's a little older & I think Cillian Murphy might not be able to carry off the barbarian well. So it should be Aidan Turner or Chris Hemsworth! I love Jim Caviezel, but he's just not Matthew. OMG!! Gerard Butler!!!! Oh, yes, Gerard Butler would divine!!

I'm half way through reading the 2nd book in the series, The Shadow of Night, and I love it! My choice for Matthew Clairmont? Matt Bomer! As long as he could pull of a faint French accent.

Richard Armitage is a great choice, he is very handsome, is in his early 40's, is dark haired and has a great stage presence, is about the right height, and most importantly, he is a great actor.
Christain Bale is my choice. He would be good in anything.

from the looks of it, the Armitage4Clairmont folks are serious about it and are putting together a pretty slick campaign. if Richard Armitage is your choice for Matthew you should check them out on Facebook.

I was thinking maybe Lee Pace but he would have to get rid of his sweetness a little bit or someone like Chris Hemsworth I mean when she described Matthew's build I immediately thought of him
I was thinking Rachel McAdams for Diana or someone like Emily Deschanel I know she's a bit too old but the power and confidence she exudes I think is perfect for Diana
