What is your favorite character good or bad in Artemis Fowl?

Artemis is my favorite.
After reading through all the books I have to agree that Butler is probably my favorite. He has a lot of hidden depths, and as Tirzah pointed out, is amazingly loyal.
I think I agree with Kristine and Titzah. Butler is definitely one of the more "in-depth" characters. Although I have to say that Mulch is pretty high up there. He provides good comic relief; sometimes that is more important than others. I don't think that the gang would be able to get anything done without Mulch.
Finished the first and I have to say Holly or butler
I've gotten all the way through the time paradox - don't remember exactly which one that is - and I really like Minerva, even though there's not much time devoted to her.

D'Arvit!!! Can't decide between a favorite, I like them all the same. I like Artemis criminal master-mind genius, I like Holly's spunky attitude, and I like Juliet's loose cannon attitude. I sometimes become annoyed with Foaly, his sarcasm is funny sometimes, but most of the time, I think he over does it.I am currently on the 4th book. So, far I like the "Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code"
I really like butler. im a gamer aswell and he really reminds me of the hitman agent codename 47. butler is a dude! Mulch Diggums is also hillarious! i only read up to the opal deception and had a break, got my hands on the lost colony so im reading that now :)

Julius Root is my absolute favorite.. I think he's got so many fun lines, and he's just such a good person underneath his hard exterior.. :)I also like Artemis and Holly a lot, though.. Oh, and Mulch and Foaly, of course.. ;)
Gosh, this is going to be so common and typical, but my favorite characters would definitely be Artemis, Mulch, and Foaly respectively. Artemis because he's hot and I can't help but think of Ciel Phantomhive from Kuroshitsuji when I read his name. Mulch and Foaly just because they're awesome.

I've yet to get my hands on book two, but so far, I really like Artemis. He's a super genius [which I love], like tweleve years old [makes him seem adorable, in the younger children sorta way], always 2 steps ahead [smart!], and I like his attitude and the way he talks and thinks.So... yeah, I likme Artemis.

Holly, Juliete and Butler
Butler, definately, Butler. I like a guy who's in control of himself. Good role model for Artemis when his dad was missing and just enough concience to redeem him.
Out of the first seven books...... I love eight year old Artemis, and twelve year old Artemis. WHAT HAPPENED TO MY EVIL ARTY? :( I miss him. He joined the good side and he isn't the same. I also love Orion, and Opal. Opal is alot like me, strangely. I was very surprised when I found that she had the same intentions as me reguarding the moon... LETS SHOOT DOWN THE MOON! :D On most websites, my username is OpalKoboi.

er...Artemis...as both good and bad...since he did actually start out as a menace and slowly changed into someone who...well he is not exactly a menace but he is better than the way he was (kind of like a work in progress)

I also love the character of Butler. A man so well trained and loyal is simply an awesome man. To be able to master a few martial arts is crazy but all martial arts is insane. And I love that Colfer wrote him as Eurasian, deeming that no matter what at around 6-4, bald headed, impeccably dressed, and asian featured, he sticks out everywhere in the world.
I'm sorry I misread....butler is closer to 7ft tall. Very imposing figure.
I love Holly the most out of all the characters, she has a lot of depth to her character and knows exactly how to take care of herself. Every person loves a self sufficient character. Who comes in a close second? Orion. Totally Orion. I love how he's the exact opposite of Artemis and is content with confessing his love for Holly and doing nothing else.
