librarything?

Do any of you use Library Thing at http://www.librarything.com/? I will look into it more, but it looks like a pretty cool site. I'm wondering in particular if I can import titles, etc. from GR?

I'm also confused (see 'topic is about'). Why is there a predetermined list for that field? How can something be added?

I think I've got my hands full with GoodReads; no time or inclination to get involved in another site. However, I've been known to change my mind now and again! Ya never know! lol

I do not use LibraryThing, and I know many Goodreads members do. Apparently both sites are very similar. What I have heard is that Goodreads is more socially interactive, but only because of the larger volume of polls and quizes and lists and variety of groups. LibraryThing seems to be more popular with members who are more intent on listing and tracking their personal catalog. In many cases, people belong to both.

I do believe they are able to import from Goodreads lists, anything with a ISBN.
