I was thinking about it this morning, this book would make for a really good anime/animated series. Just not one that you would let your kids watch because of all the bloody battles and stuff.

I love the Redwall books because it's the only few kids series that lets blood and battles get through the censors. The weasels, foxes, and otters rule.

its a kid show. and it was made 10+years ago, so don't expect as much as you would from today's cartoons. And it's still good.
It is still good. The Mattimeo one is the best though, it has the best animation and sticks the closest to the book. The first Redwall season is kinda a joke, but if you look at it as a sub story of Redwall then it's better. And Martin the Warrior is......eh. But it's still fun to watch. I own half the first season and all of the third. But Mossflower would have made a cool one. I hear they were actually going to do that season next before they stopped doing the Redwall seasons all together. I don't know why they stopped though, I guess they didn't have enough veiwers.
I've only seen the Redwall season and I was not impressed. I think this would have been great if done in the style of the British Wind in the Willows claymation series. Nowadays, though, probably CGI would be best.

The Redwall series is now on Netflix, but I wasn't terribly impressed.I do think this could be a great animated series though.
