Sandra, even though it's been months now, Amazon are still putting kindle and paperback/ebook ASIN/ISBN on the same book. New releases are still coming up with it! Are they going to stop it, and start doing things correctly, or don't they care?

Unless you have that edition Kylie, I can't add a page count. Can't find any acceptable sources for that isbn.

That's why only librarians can now add or edit books.

Kindle font size doesn't matter as we can only use amazon for kindles. It is the ebook fonts that are the problem, unless using PDFs. 99.9% of my ebooks are PDF, the kindle editions aren't included in that.

Added page number, as always, will take a little while to show correctly.

I think I meant ebook. I see one occasionally that is definitely not a large print & wonder if I missed reading half the book. If I read on my phone I can turn a 200p book into 450 🤣

Even though only librarians can edit, I'm still seeing a lot of editions being added using publisher page numbers - counting all the blank end pages, book club questions, excerpts from other books, ads, etc -, instead of actual pages numbers. Not to mention no pages at all.

0 pages comes from Amazon when they don't have a page count yet!!! Better to leave it blank IMO!

Some publishers have librarian status, but most of the crap comes from the amazon imports. Amazon often has publisher data, that's why we don't use it for print books if we don't have to.

And I agree Brenda, I often remove 0 pages if I come across them :)

We actually count book club questions. Anything to do with the actual book is counted, just not the excerpts & ads for other books & the blank pages at the end.
