Sorry, thats not quite right. The play is separate to the book.

I'm having trouble here Clare. I've combined the two you've linked but the other two are 'authored' by Andrew Bovell so they can't be combined with Kate's unless the author is changed.

Perhaps Sandra could have a look for you..... please if you wouldn't mind Sandra :)

Shouldn't the editions of the play be separate from Grenville's original book. Andrew Bovell wrote the play. The storyline comes from The Secret River, but he changed things. He centred the indigenous characters more than in the original book.

Yes but when we click on combine, it brings up all of Grenville's books including The Secret River. No cover pics (the easiest way to identify them) no ISBN, nothing to identify them separately. I went through every one of them to find the correct ones and could only find a couple. Sandra is a more experienced librarian than I am and will probably know an easier way to identify the ones that need separating.

OK. When a work is adapted, the Adapter becomes the primary author. So all the play works are now under Andrew Bovell.

Clare, Worldcat our preferred source for print books also has 384 pages for this isbn.

Could you please advise what you have between pages 384 & page 423. Some things we count and some things we don't.

I looked at the publishers website and it says 384p. so I guess thats the correct page number 🙂 A different ISBN has 423 p. so I'll change what I read to that.

OK I've changed them to the correct author. There is no way to merge quotes, so if it was already on Carmen's profile the one attributed to Peter has been deleted. Similarly there is no way to attribute a quote to 2 books.
