A question for our lovely librarians...
I've recently read and reviewed Val McDermid's latest release, a graphic novel that she's collaborated on with illustrator Kathryn Briggs. My issue is that both the new graphic novel and McDermid's original publication under this title, in radio play form, are listed as separate editions of a single title in Goodreads. While the 2021 publication shares a title and is certainly based heavily on the 2017 work, to my mind they're sufficiently differentiated such that they are not two editions of the same work and thus warrant separate listings. There is a much greater disparity between the two than, say, a book and an audiobook edition of that book. There are small but significant differences in content and characters, and there is the issue of the additional attribution to the graphic illustrator.
This is the (original) 2017 radio play, in audiobook format: Resistance
This is the newly released 2021 graphic novel: Resistance

I agree Sarah, Graphic Novels aren't supposed to be combined with other editions. I've separated out the Audio edition and left a note, so hopefully it doesn't get re-added.
