I just needed to add the picture - the ISBN was already there :)

Yes, you could do that with your personal challenges, since the Aussie Author one was something I added for myself - there wasn't an event created for it, but what would you be linking to with your personal challenges? I have personal challenges I've made up myself, but I wouldn't have a page to link to... Or do you mean challenges you're doing in other groups?

I didn't realise that myself until Julie mentioned that you can add your own events! I guess that's what you do when you send out invites to the challenges, Brenda? I just didn't realise you could create events for individual challenges...!

I would link to the main page of each challenge for eg: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... and that would at least take me to the opening page of each of my nominated challenges :) does that sound like a plan?
In your case you have all of your challenges on one page..I think... so just the one link. But if I made my two or three challenges as separate events...which they are anyway... I would add the link to each opening page as above.

Except it's just occurred to me - I don't know how long the events stay on your profile page... Because there were events created for the Aussie Author Challenge and Autumn Reading Challenge, both of which I replied "yes" to, and the only challenge on my page (before I created my own Aussie Author Challenge) was next month's AR historical fiction read. And the dates for the others go until May 31 and Dec 31, so you would think they should still be current...

I don't know if they would disappear at the end of the year but you will still have your pages as records.

I think they must disappear once the event has ended, because the Summer Reading Challenge isn't still there, only the Autumn Challenge. I've learnt a lot today! Thanks, Julie!
Brenda wrote: "Once the date has passed, the challenges/events disappear from the group's page..."You can still see them on the group's page, though - you just have to click "show past events" (in little writing on the right hand side under "all events" and "add an event").
Ah yes, you're right there Kathryn:) I was just thinking of what shows on the page at any given time without the "fine print"... ;)

I always check isbn but as it didn't have the correct picture, I thought I'd mention it. It's not a biggie but the closest was an audiobook. Thanks for fixing, Sally, and Brenda too.

Thanks Brenda, quicker than lightning! ;)
Hi librarians! I've finally got a paperback version of my book out, but I don't know how to add that as a separate edition. Do I just "add book" and fill in all the details as if it's a whole new book?
You're quick, Brenda, but I think I just beat you to it. Found that little "add new edition" button lurking on the book page. ISBN is 9780994239105. Have I done it right?
Good evening all, I have a book that is not here on GR. My isbn is: 978-1-74245-261-6 (pbk). 127pp. Many thanks. Here is a link:

Fyi, Twiceborn: An Urban Fantasy Adventure by Marina Finlayson doesn't come up in a search as Twice Born, which is how it is written on the cover of the book, ie; two words. ;)
Here you go Rita - The Gillard Project
by Michael Cooney

I was looking at that this morning too RitaSkeeter, it sounds intriguing.
Oh I'm sorry I missed that interview! I saw it on the Penguin books newsletter, another one for the shelf methinks.

I think perhaps it's only one she offers on her site - an unpublished short story. Did you read it as a PDF from her webpage?

Yes Suzanne your book has been done:) Thanks Sally if it was you:) But Suzanne, do you search by ISBN when you look for a particular book? That's how I find if it's actually in the system...
And Julie, I'm the same as Sally - too hard for this little black duck;) You have actually put things in here - between you and Kathryn - that I didn't know about at all;)
