I think someone should be able to fix this, but I'm not sure whether another edition needs to be created, or whether there is another solution!

I've started reading this edition (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...) of The Novel in the Viola, but its blurb on GR is in German! As are all the blurbs for that cover of the book. It's published by Sceptre, which seems to be a division of Hodder & Stoughton and there are 2 hardcover editions with that same cover - one listed as published by Sceptre, one listed as published by Hodder & Stoughton with both blurbs in German (and there are 2 paperback editions listed by Sceptre and H&S, also with German blurbs). So I'm guessing that the Sceptre and H&S editions for both paperback and hardcover could actually be combined, although I'm not too concerned about that - I'd just like one hardback edition with that cover to have an English blurb!!

The blurb on the back of my book says:

A question (although it might be a dumb one but bear with me; it's only 4.20am.) Another member (not one of my friends) has said she cannot see "compare books or send a message" in my profile. I checked and can't see it either but that may be because I am looking at my own profile. Have I selected a choice in 'edit my profile' so that these options do not appear? Help!

I can see it ok Bette :) at the top beneath your profile. Bette I think that (compare books) only shows up for friends?

The translator John Blakeney for this book was born in 1982. But the John Blakeney (translator) that the book is linked to is John Blakney (pseudonym) born in 1898. See the other book on this JB's profile. Can someone please fix this for me. Ta!

They should be able to see it Bette, I can, when I click on your profile.
In between your personal details & your 'best of the best shelf' it has in a row - add as a friend, follow reviews, send message, compare books
