It's already there Carolyn:) Just type in the ASIN (in this case) in the GR search box and it brings it up straight away:)

Thanks Brenda. I thought it should be there but couldn't find it by title or author. Dummy didn't think to type in the ISBN :)

I've started reading this edition (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...) of The Novel in the Viola, but its blurb on GR is in German! As are all the blurbs for that cover of the book. It's published by Sceptre, which seems to be a division of Hodder & Stoughton and there are 2 hardcover editions with that same cover - one listed as published by Sceptre, one listed as published by Hodder & Stoughton with both blurbs in German (and there are 2 paperback editions listed by Sceptre and H&S, also with German blurbs). So I'm guessing that the Sceptre and H&S editions for both paperback and hardcover could actually be combined, although I'm not too concerned about that - I'd just like one hardback edition with that cover to have an English blurb!!
The blurb on the back of my book says:
"In the spring of 1938, Elise Landau arrives at Tyneford, the great house on the bay. A bright young thing from Vienna forced to become a parlour-maid, she knows nothing about England, except that she won't like it. As servants polish silver and serve drinks on the lawn, Elise wears her mother's pearls beneath her uniform and causes outrage by dancing with a boy called Kit. But war is coming, the world is changing, and Elise must change with it.
At Tyneford she learns that you can be more than one person - and that you can love more than once."

All done Kathryn:) Thanks for all your detailed information..."
Excellent! Thanks, Brenda. As for my "detailed information" - the other way to describe it might be that I'm being a bit obsessive-compulsive... :-)

As long as I'm not alone in my desire for correctness...!! (Is that a word??)

Doesn't seem to show up and I hope I've posted this to the right thread:)

I can see it ok Bette :) at the top beneath your profile. Bette I think that (compare books) only shows up for friends?

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
The translator John Blakeney for this book was born in 1982. But the John Blakeney (translator) that the book is linked to is John Blakney (pseudonym) born in 1898. See the other book on this JB's profile. Can someone please fix this for me. Ta!
I changed the two Blakeney/Blakney's Bette. Can you check and see if it is correct please? Thanks!

They should be able to see it Bette, I can, when I click on your profile.
In between your personal details & your 'best of the best shelf' it has in a row - add as a friend, follow reviews, send message, compare books

On his profile page, John Blakeney still has the "Urban Devlopment Strategy..." book linked to him. This book belongs to John Blakney.

Thanks:)

You're welcome Bette:)

It has 343 pages - is someone able to add this?

Would you like to add it to the New Release thread and the Bookshelf Michael? :)

http://momentumbooks.com.au/books/for...
Is by Aussie author Ilsa Evans

It's the third in the series and I love it!!!
Have dropped all current reads to give it priority!! Knew it was close to release but not that it was out.
If you search using the ISBN/ASIN you'll find it if it's in the database...I learned that the hard way! So now, as long as there is one to be found, that is the only way I search:)

Useful tip. Thank you :)

Could I get a cover added please
book - C Is For Corpse
