This collection of poems is meaningful and easy to understand. Literally, Ms. Nicola Black writes about the darkness in love and the light in freedom using a simplistic notion of hope. This interpretation might be only in my imagination but the poems show a yearning for a different life away from sadness but with optimism in the beauty of life and love. If you are looking for poetry with frost and flowers, you will enjoy A Story Not Wished to be Read. I love it!

I downloaded it off Smashwords yesterday and read it, I enjoyed it very much. I could tell you put alot of personal feelings into it Nicola and there were many that I myself related to, which is probably why I enjoyed it so much. Good job!

As someone who writes poetry It enlightened me to all emotion that goes into writing poetry and as someone whos going through his own love struggles I related more ways than one.
