83rd Hunger Games Arena: Outpost

Julian looked at Rhea, bewildered. "She is in my alliance, it's okay, we can trust her." said Julian, "You're welcome to join us Rhea. And about the kiss, don't be sorry." Then he kissed her on the lips gently and stroked her cheek.

"Venia!" Charlotte whispers and slides away from the rest of her alliance to go and greet her girlfriend. (( Ah, Eva this is gonna be sooo much fun to RP! ))

"Julian." Rhea sighed. She looked hesitently out at the girl waiting in the clearing. Sliping her hand into julians Rhea took a step forward before comeing to a halt and tugging on his hand to get him tu turn and face her. "Julian.." Rhea stared intently at the frozen ground beneath her feet. "I think- I- I umm. I think that- no, I know that. Well.." Rhea stammered desperatly trying to make him understand. "I love you." Rhea blurted the words out ineligantly, realising as she said them that they where true. This boy, Julian, Held her heart. And he had the power to crush it and send her reeling into the abys. But it didn't matter because she loved him.

[Haley]

Julian looked back at her and said softly, "I love you too Rhea." and then kissed her on the lips. When he pulled away, he was grinning and he said, "So are you going to join our alliance?"

[Ellis *a girl with kaleidoscope eyes*]

Rhea opened her eyes wide. An Alliance! She wanted to decline and go back to being solitary, where she had no one to worry about but herself (and the other tributes hunting her...). But this was Julian. Her Julian. And if he wanted her there then she would have to stick it out for him. Like it or lump it as they say! Putting on a smile she took Julians hand, her lips still tingling from their kisses, and strode forward toward his mysterious alliances. Wow, she was getting good at this acting thing.

Julian followed after Rhea and grabbed his knife which he had dropped earlier. He looked at Rhea, and thought to himself, How is it that I am so lucky to be able to be with her, but so unlucky for us to be in the games together? While walking with Rhea towards the warehouse he said, "We probably have some food left over, I'm sure you're hungry."

[Ellis *a girl with kaleidoscope eyes*]

"Thanks" Rhea replied with a smile. I dont understand, she thought, How could someone so selfless and caring love me. Me, i am no where near worthy of him. And now wher are in this darn games together. Why? Just when i find happieness it is torn from me by the sacrificial Capitol. Rhea wanted to scream. However, thankfully, Rhea's face betrayed non of those emotions as she took Julians hand in one of hers. Whilst, with the other, She took out a wickedly sharp knife from her jacket. Just to be prepared she thought.

Venia stiffens at Charlotte's greeting, remembering how cold she had been at her interview. She forced a small smile on her face. Charlotte really is lovely, Venia sighed internally. She brushed her short bangs back. "Hey," was all she could manage to Charlotte. Frankly she was relieved to see that Charlotte was alive at all. She walked over to Charlotte, put an arm around her slim waist, and ducked her head into her shoulder, briefly examining Charlotte's alliance as she did so.

Releasing Julians hand Rhea looked the girl up and down, seeing no imediat threat she placed bothe her other hand and the knife in her pocket. The girl seemed relatively harmless. For the moment anyway. "Hey" she smiled "I'm Rhea." She peeked at julian once more befor stepping forward and taking the girls hand. If she was honest, the girl seemed quite friendly.

(( I feel like calling numbers now, so either after my attack, or after yours, if you want to do one. ))

He cursed loudly, hoping and dreading that it grabbed someone else's attention. Obviously it wouldn't, anyone who heard someone else scream would know they were dying of something or were in pain. And if not, they'd be clever enough to know it was a trap.

He collapsed onto his right knee, the knife in his left thigh. It'd take too much pain to take it out, and it wasn't something he could do while she was behind him. However, it was a better knife.

He grasped the knife by the handle and pulled, "AAAAARGH!" he shrieked. The blood seeped from his skin and only added to the vile image he had of the knife in his leg. His hands flew off of the knife, it was too much pain!

The blow across his neck sent him onto his back, and he lay on the snow, looking up at the girl once more.

Of all people, his family was watching.

The new inspiration sparked a glint of fury in his body. And he felt a momentary strength and warmth spread throughout his body.

(( Now, this'll either turn the fight or backfire completely. xD

Adelina shook her hand politely, "What are some of your skills? Hunting...cooking... I am personally a fighter. A good fight is always just exhilerating," she said smoothly with a smirk.

Rhea distangled her hand for Adelina's in one swift movement. Her eyes gleamed as she contemplated the question. What was she good at? She could hunt, clim and was good in a fight. However she had never been much of a cook. "I will always e a fighter." She remarked "I can hunt to and im faster than most." The girls smug smile seemed to delate slightly. "And, i can climb. So dont get any ideas, I'm not going down easily." Instantly Rhea knew she had hit a nerve. "Sorry." she ammended "I didn't expect this, I did not even know Julian had allies. And, well, I guess im just on the defense."

[Haley]

Julian held Rhea's hand through all of what she said and when she was done talking, he said, "It's okay Rhea, Adelina meant no harm to you, she's a good ally. Sorry I didn't prepare you for this, I meant to tell you before, but I didn't get a chance."

Then he looked at Adelina and his eyes softened, he said softly, "I'm so sorry about Jaxes."

Rhea looked up at Julian, his eyes glistened with moisture as he spoke. I am so lucky to have him, she thought. Jaxes? Oh yeah the box who's face had appeared in the sky. She wasn't sure what district he had been in but from Adelina's tearful eyes she could see that the girl had loved Jim. It was unmistak. Rhea wondered if that was how she would look if something happened to Julian. Instantly she felt for this girl. Reaching out to place a hand on Adelina's shoulder Rhea looked at the girl and gave her a small sorrowful smile. "I am so sorry." She said, her eyes full of understandi.

Charlotte's heart flutters as Venia leans into her. Charlotte wraps her arm around Venia protectively. No one will hurt her while I'm still alive, Charlotte thinks to herself. "We're safe with these people," she whispers to her beautiful girlfriend. "Well, as safe as you can get in the Hunger Games," She gave Venia another squeeze.

Alek pulls himself away from all the alliance drama to talk to Deryn. She didn't seem caught up in this relationship drama like everyone else.
"Hello, Deryn" he says, perfectly confident. He was never shy or nervous. It didn't seem Deryn was either.
"Hello Alek. How is everything," Deryn replies, not meeting his gaze. She hoped he wasn't like the rest of the tributes, only trying to save themselves, but claiming they're trying to save their beloved.
"Fine,: Alek replies, not knowing what else to say. Awkward silence sets in.

[Ashten]

((AHHH can I join some one's alliance pleease?!?))

Elli rested comfertably next to a dimming fire. He kept his idle hands busy, making bomb after bomb. He didn't have much to work with but his creations would deal damage nevertheless. Elli craked a half smile, "I hope I don't blow the all competition away with my genius." He joked, guesturing to the small pile of grenades and other small explosives that lay beside him. Arthur, who had been working on weapons of his own only raised an eyebrow in response as the cheesy joke hung awkwardly in the air. Elli's smile faultered and he went back to fiddling with some wires, "You really need to grow a sense of humor..."

Adeina flinches and a small tear rolls down her cheek. "It's fine. Welcome to Aqua-Marine," she said stiffly before turning to sit by the fire. She grabbed one of her blankets and wrapped herself in a bundle, trying to keep warm. She let a few more tears slip over, thinking of Jaxes.

"I didn't even find a weapon," I whisper to Charlotte, "I'm useless."

Charlotte spins Venia around her to look her in the eyes. "You," breaths Charlotte. "Are not useless. You're the only reason I'm still even partly sane right now. Here," Charlotte opens her pack and hands Venia 2 of her better daggers, along with some medical supplies. "This never happened. You found these at the Cornucopia," Charlotte winks.

[Lilith]

Lilac looks to Rhea. "Hi, I'm Lilac. I'm from eight. " she says in greeting.

[Ashten]

Elli and Arthur packed up their things. Between the two they had explosives galore, smoke bombs usuing the ashes from previous fires, toxic daggers and darts, -Arthur made his own lethal concoctions- and a pack with a flashlight and a few megar provisions. ((I never made a list. *shrugs* ))

As the two trudged through the bitter cold Arthur considered their situatuion from a distance. They were young compared to most of the tributes, mere children, but they had knowledge -Arthur being the smarter as far as knowing things in general, although he'd grungingly admit that Elli was far more cunning than he when in the midst of battle- and that would give them an advantage. Still, on their they could not do much. "We should join an alliance." He said thoughtfully finaly voicing his musings. Elli nodded, "Sure why not, your the boss after all!" He gave Arthur a wry grin. Arthur sighed in response, wondering how his parner could be so carefree with such decisions.

[Ashten]

The boys finaly came upon some voices ahead of them and they crept quietly toward the source.

Two girls stood in shadow greeting one another, "Who are they? H-hey! Be careful, if they think we're a threat they'll kill us on the spot!" Arthur whispered.

"That one is Rhea and... I think that one is Lilac." Elli pointed to each of the girls. "I'll try to talk to them, you'll just piss em' off. You're not exactly a people person, Arty." Elli snickered softly and patted him on the back.

Arthur glared at him, "I am to and don't call me that you imbicle!"

"Sure you are, what ever helps you sleep at night Arty." Elli stood up, tucked his knife into his boot and with his hands up like he was surrendering, he walked toward them, loudly so they would know he was coming. Then Elli faced the girls, "I come in peace, really I do. So... Uh, please don't kill me?"

"Hey," Rhea relied with a genuin smile "Im Rhea, nice to meetcha." She started at the sound of footsteps on the churnshing ice and spun round, immediatly glad she had her dagger to hand. Whippping it out she shifted into a defensive stance. Suddenly and shockingly protective of her new allies. A boy stepped out from behind a bush, hands raised in the air in a surrender. Rhea gowled a warning not to come any closer. Behind him Rhea could see another boy, slightly in the distance. The boy spoke his tone weary ""I come in peace, really I do. So... Uh, please don't kill me?"" Shocked, Rhea looked him up and down. Innitionaly she saw nothing but after looking again she saw the hilt of a knife protruding from his boot. She flicked her had toward herself, "The knife. Gimme." she kept her eyes on his, waiting for him to attack.

Adelina heared voices outside and followed. She came out into a clearing, seeing a boy and Rhea. She locked her eyes on the boy, his dagger was unsheathed. He was holding it out towards Rhea who looked pretty pissed. Adelina pulled out her blade and pointed it towards him. "One wrong move, and I'll rip your throat out," she growled. She would not let him kill one of her alliance members.

Rhea lunged forward and grabbed the boys outstretched arm, twisting it behindhis back he put his own dagger to his throat. She noticed Adelina "There's another one. A boy, over there." She motioned behind her with a flick of her head. "Now" she groweled into the boys ear "What do you want?"

((I was going to say that Arthur and Elli could join up with Henrietta if they aren't killed/part of the alliance... and ummmm I'm going to rp both Lyssa and Henrietta so I actually do something...))

Henrietta was beginning to get annoyed with Lyssa. She didn't answer any questions, never said anything, and never cracked a smile. "What's wrong?" Henrietta growled, finally loosing her cool. When Lyssa reached into her pocket, Henrietta knew something was wrong. Stepping back, she grabbed a bow and arrow from her back. Instantly pointing it at Lyssa, she noticed a knife pointed towards her heart. "Were you planning this the whole time?" Henrietta asked, "Did you ever want to actually be my ally??" Lyssa smiled a seductive smile and shook her head, still not speaking. At least she actually smiled. "Are you ready to die?" Lyssa asked.

Venia smiles and slips the daggers away, one into her belt, the other carefully into her boot. She leans into Charlotte.

Julian walked into the clearing, looking for Rhea, and found her restraining a boy tribute. He gasps and run to her aid, unsheathing two of his throwing knives, one for the boy restrained by Rhea, the other for the boy hiding from them. "Either of you make a move, you get a knife in your heart." Then he saw Adelina there too, "Adelina, Rhea, what happened?"

Adelina runs over to the bushes and grabs the other boy. She gets him in a head lock, keeping him from moving. She brings him back into the clearing. "Why are you two here snooping around? Don't even think of fighting back. I'm not afraid to kill either of you," she says menacingly to the two boys.

She looks at Julian, "I came out here and that dude was holding his knife towards Rhea. I grabbed this little squirt when I saw him in the bushes," she explained as the boy she restrained struggled to be released from her grasp.

Rhea looks at Julian's worried face and sighs. "Julian, he wasn't trying to kill me, yet. They came out of the bushes and this one walked over, hands up. He said he comes in peace. But this is the hunger games. "Now," she hissed into to boys ear "What are we going to do with you?" She twisted his arm so he turned to face her, whilst she stil kept a tight grip on him, and looked at heis face. He was scared. She looked into his eyes and could see no sign of anger, nothing to suggest that he was here to attack. She losened her grip on his arm, slightly.

((Yay! I went shopping too!!!! But only for two hours... and I love you!!!! Valentine's Day!!! I was going to have National History Day on Valentine's Day but then they changed it... =D))

Henrietta grimaced instantly thought of a plan. "Am I ready? No, I'm not ready to die. I'm going to live," Henrietta said. Just keep talking... Henrietta thought. Lyssa did just that. "Oh. I don't think you're going to live. I'm prepared for this. I just brought it upon you..." she trailed off. However, by that time, Henrietta had already released the arrow. Lyssa's eyes widened and she stepped to the left, but it was too late. The arrow had already buried itself in her arm. Falling in pain, Lyssa tried pulling the arrow out of her arm, but it was buried too deep. It broke off at the time, leaving the actual arrow in her skin. Quickly, Henrietta shot another arrow, hitting straight on her target. The heart. Lyssa instantly falls dead and the cannon goes off. Instantly, Henrietta lets her heart pound and reveal just how frightened she was. Heartlessly, she grabs Lyssa's pack and knife, looking back sadly at the forgotten broken arrow. "I wish you didn't have to do that," she whispered at Lyssa's dead body.
