"Hey, I do stuff. Just no one gives me a chance!" Deryn answers. "Anything you want me to do- especially saving the world- I can do it"

Julian looks at her, laughs a bit, and says, "Its okay and let's keep saving the world as a secondary mission to surviving the hunger games. Want to help me cook?" He points to the meat sitting next to the pelt he skinned off of the deer.
Henrietta looks at Lyssa almost angrily. Trying to tone it down, she whispers, "What's with the grumpy mood?? I found you!!! Alliance, remember?"
Arthur was annoyed he found his subordinate to be quite vexing, he kept on trying to take the lead and that was HIS job. "Elli..." He started dryly, "Perhaps I should lead the way?"Elli gave him an exasperated look, "No you idiot! One, you have no sense of direction, two, I don't trust you anyway. Now hush! I think somethings up ahead."
They crept forward and saw two girls whispering to one another. Elli held his breath and swore in his head. Great, now what?

"I can help cook, if you guys want. I cook all the time at home." Lilac pipes up eagerly.

(( Lol hahahaha I love that expression! Also, for those of you who have read Maze Runner I use all sorts of Glader slang like, "Shuck it!" and "You klunk for brains shank!" and, "Bloody piggies!" Okay fine, the last one was just Newt slang... my fictional bf, for those of you who don't know. ;) ))
Charlotte is super on edge and eager to do something. She feels scared, but is determined not to show it. She starts thinking about how only one person will be out alive at the end... does she even want it to be her? She thinks of Venia. No, Charlotte thinks. She can't even bear the thought of living without her.

"Thanks." he says, smiling back at Lilac, "Its nice to know that at least one person in this arena is considerate and nice."
"Well...I just figure that if I'm gonna die here, I'd rather have died being a nice person." Lilac says, poking at the meat.
"I wish I could say the same. I just have a temper that makes me less than amicable to some. It's especially hard to be nice here, with so much tension and the possibility of death every second of every day." says Julian, wringing his hands in anxiety from being in the arena.
"I know what you mean..." Lilac trails off as she takes the meat off the fire.
"Thanks for cooking that." said Julian, "I wonder if we have anything to store it in after we eat, yet I'm not even sure there will be any left."
"Welcome. I like to cook a lot, so yeah...I don't think there will be any left, judging from the size of it." Lilac replies.

She looks in at the food and the fire, "There was a small bowl in my pouch, we can melt some snow for water."
Lilac still *highly* doubted that Adelina and Jaxes were nothing more than friends, but of course she didn't say anything. "Oh, okay. Great." she says cheerfully. She looks through the pouch and finds the bowl. "I'll just be a minute!" she calls to no one in particular as she heads out the door.
Julian looks at Adelina and says, "Nice of you to help us prepare this meal. Oh right, you didn't."
"Adelina is being a fine allience leader! I don't think we should hate on her." Deryn says
"I'm not hating on anyone. Just stating a fact. Sorry, attitude again, I know." he says, throwing his hands up in exasperation. Then he slumps down against a wall and sighs. "You're doing a lovely job Adelina, I meant nothing by what I said." he says and then he takes a deep breath and strokes the side of one of his sheathed knives.
Lilac comes back in the room with a bowl overflowing with snow. She places the bowl close to the fire, so it'll melt. She senses the tension in the room and sighs, hoping they wouldn't start fighting again.
Julian grabs one of his throwing knifes and uses it to cut up the cooked deer meat into smaller pieces. He looks around and says, "Who wants some?"

"Can you guys just cool it for a minute and eat? We're all tired and hungry." Lilac says, taking a piece of meat.
Lilac hands Spencer some meat. "Thanks." he says quietly, it's the only thing he's said since they entered the arena. Lilac smiles.
Ky decided it was time to get out and move. He knew that whatever came next was something he was ready for. ((anyone willing to fight him? I dunno what to do with him now...))

((okay then))Ila looked down at the districyt 11 boy on the ground. He sat there looking defeated. "You need to fight not sit there. Use the knife like it should be used."
She waited patiently for his next move.
"You gave me a dud on purpose. Its like you were attacking cement with this knife," he muttered, staring at her incredulously.Outrageous!
He took to his feet again and held the knife by the blade, convinced that the butt would do more damage than the actual blade. He waited for her to move, but his anger only grew over time as she stood there watching him. She was urging him to attack her.
He lurched forwards and attempted to jam the butt just below her rib cage.
Rhea: walked round the corner of one of the giant warehouses. her eyes darting from side to side as she looked around. She was alone. But maybe, Rhea thought, That wasnt such a good thing...

He pounces on a tribute and slits their throat, before bounding away and leaping onto another tribute, carving a Z in their chest and leaving them to bleed to death.
Two anons go off, and Jaxes and Jess's face shines in the sky.
(( Just saw the animated disney version of the princess and the frog yesterday for the first time and i love it :OOOOO new fave movie ;DD ))
Julian grabs some meat and eats it quickly and then gets his canteen and takes a sip of his own water. Then he walks outside for some fresh air and walks a bit away from the warehouse. He sits underneath a tree, his knife clutched in his hand, ready if someone were to attack him. He cherishes the alone time and thinks for the first time of his girl counterpart, the other district 5 tribute, Rhea. He wonders where she is and when he hears the first two cannons go off he can't help but hope its not her who is dead.

Adelina sees Jaxes face in the sky, a tear rlls down her cheek but she wipes it away. She will not let her gaurd down, she has to be strong.
She takes a small piece of meat and nibbles on it. "Who's gonna be first watch?"
Wondering through a sparse forest Rhea let's her mind wander. She cannot help but think of Julian. She sighs. But quickly gives herself a mental shake, this is the Hunger Games and feeling don't come into account. But she couldn't help the smile that spread over her face. Julian made her feel alive. The shallow sound of breathing brought her to her senses. Crouching down low Rhea slid behind a small stub. Leaning close she saw him. Julian! Rhea ran forwards, hurting towards him. Only when he looked up did she consider that it might be a trap.
Venia pulls herself together, gathers her supplies, and walks quietly down the stair, peeking around to see who is down there.She's stunned to see Charlotte.
Julian looked up in just enough time to see Rhea running towards him and he dropped his knife in surprise and stood up to embrace her as she ran into him. His smile took up his whole face as he stood there hugging her and he said, "I'm so glad you're safe."
Harper is stunned to hear the cannons go off as she pokes here head out from under her underground hideaway. She slowly sinks back under and its there.She has a moment of silence for the two who died.
Gent is just about to comment on how surprising it was nobody ahd died yet when the two cannons fired, he looked around at his alliance and had a moment of panic when he couldn't see Lilac, but his neyes found hers. She was sitting with Spencer, protecting him. Gent wonders whether to tell Lilac about his feelings. If he has one last chance at love why not jump at it. He decides to do it soon .((Hey Lilith could we start the relationship? I just dont want either of them to yaknow die before they finally become a couple. Maybe when he goes to tell her she could tell him first or kiss him or something lemme know))
Still enclosed in Julian's arms, Rhea looked around. Satisfied there was no-one watching, no threat, Rhea was able to turn her whole attention to hem. SHe gazed up at him, beaming from ear to ear, he realy was magnificent. And he had come to meet her. Her, of all people the georgeous boy could have and he wanted her. Well at least she hoped he did. Thoughts of what was to come threaghtened to overcome her and cloud the good she had with Julian. Steeling herself she pushed them away and stretched up to plant a kiss on his mouth. Blushing slightly she stepped out of his embrace and began fumbling in her pack, embaressed.
Julian, happy from Rhea's kiss, smiled widely and looked at Rhea fumbling with her pack and felt utter love towards her. How can I be in love? I'm in the freaking Hunger Games! thought Julian to himself. "What's wrong Rhea?" he said quietly, noticing her embarrassed look.
Henrietta sighed when there was no answer from Lyssa and grabbed her arm away to the trees. The second after pulling her behind a tree, two cannons went off. She recognized Jaxes' face, but the other tribute, she was not sure who the other one was. "So, Lyssa," Henrietta mentioned, trying to make conversation. "What supplies do you have?"
"N-nothing." Rhea took a deep breath and looked up at him. Her mind swam with so many different emotions as she looked at him. She could feel her cheeks heating up and cursed her pale cheeks for betraying her. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that." Her eyes drifted down toward the floor and small stradns of hair fell into her face. She felt so conflicted! On the one hand she should be mad at this boy for making her feel these things and act how she was. However she could not help be be happy and hopefull when he was around.

Rhea looked up, disgrunteled from eing disturbed. SHe is disorientated for a moment after being ripped from Julians hypnotic gaze and it takes a moment for her to react. Sweaping an arm round Julians waist she pulls him deep into the nearest shrub. She would have liked to climb a tree for etter safety but is not sure of julians climbing abilities. She settles for drawing her bow and arrow and hissing out at the person. A clear warning.
