Olivia (deer50) I found this book The Sword of Shannara to have a very similar writing style to Tolkien.
It's very long too like 700 pages. I'm sure there's more. I just haven't read much similar books to that.

Amelia (narknon) There are a lot of books like LOTR. Tolkien influenced many writers especially around the 80s. Terry Brooks is definitely one of them. So are Raymond E. Feist (Riftworld) and David Eddings (Mallorean). In many ways Robert Jordan has a lot of similar elements in his Wheel of Time series. (No links 'cause I'm on my phone. )
