This came up when I added The Proud Breed by Celeste De Blasis to my personal reading list. The author sorts Blasis, Celeste De and NOT as De Blasis, Celeste. I double checked with the LOC catalog to make sure that De Blasis was her surname and it is. How does one fix it. I'm new to the librarian status and didn't find the answer in the manual. Thank you.

Hi everyone , I am Barbara , co-moderator of Fans of Norah Lofts ( and of Mary Renault, but it's of the NL group I am seeking info.) I often create questions for the neverending quiz, and and every so often a comment appears saying "This question is about Nora Lofts" and the link leads back to a page saying it is about the author "Nora Lofts" and that only librarians can change any info in it.
Small point to others perhaps, but her name is NORAH with an H and we hate to see her misspelled . Can I get this changed please?
Thank you
Yes, one is on the question on selection of women for NL's Women in the Old Testament. It links back to an author entry for "Nora Lofts" who is described as having written no books. There is also a proper entry for Norah Lofts fortunately though http://www.goodreads.com/trivia/searc... in the old testament
Thank you for your help
The link you provided is a search that yields over 1000 results. I'd need a link to the precise question to look into this.
I'm sorry , I don't know how to do that except to suggest if you put in Women in the Old Testament in the search box of the Neverending quiz...
I fixed a couple. The others don't have author links (incorrect or otherwise), so I left them alone. Including one with comments about the misspelling, which may have been edited by someone else, as it has ZERO responses. (Which most often means someone edited the question and didn't uncheck the "clear all responses to this question" option.
I also merged the incorrect profile into the correct one, so it's less likely to happen again.
