Review- I liked this book. At first I was kind of confused with everything going on, but I think thats normal with a new series. It was about a lady who was raised to think that having emotions is wrong, and to do exactly what is expected. She meets a changeling, who makes everything different. All in all, it was pretty good.

Review- In this book, Eugenie is coming to terms with being queen in the otherworld while still trying to maintain her life in the human world. She finally accepts it towards the end, and I was glad. I was also glad that she got with Dorian at the end, but I don't see it lasting. Im keeping my fingers crossed. :) While she is kidnapped, she is assaulted and now a big war us going to happen so Im pretty eager to read what neoprene.

Review: This was a cute and rather funny story overall. I found it rather interesting that somehow I was over a third of the way through the book before I really realized the story was written in first person, the writing just flowed naturally.
Mo and Cooper's relationship was interesting. There wasn't much written about the developing feelings between the two, instead you're more told than shown that they care for each other, and yet, their feelings come off as real and believable. I'll definitely be reading the next book about Cooper's sister.

The story was a good mystery. I enjoyed learning more about Lucas and his background and seeing Paige develop in this series. Im also happy that some of the old cast made a reappearance i.e. Clay and Elena but Im interested to see what happens between the Vamps and Savannah's parents.

way to go, ladies!! I'm in India, on the road now. I didn't get any reading done for past few days but I'll finish off some book by this week

I finished The Thief for this shelf yesterday. I'll do a review and an update sometime tomorrow.

Review: This was a good edition to the Elder Races series. It was sweet and the unexpected attraction grew slowly. Khalil was an ancient Djinn that was not experienced with human interaction but strongly attracted to Grace's little niece and nephew that she is raising after her sister and husband were killed in the same accident that injured her. It was touching how his negative judgmental opinion of Grace's parenting skills changed when he realizes the struggles she goes to day to day. Then he becomes protective and her champion as they discover that her misfortune may not be entirely accidental. I've been a little luke warm on the series after the last two, but this one is right up there with the first one that made me love this series.

Review: Glen is a thief who got caught because he bragged about his skills in a pub. When the book opens, we see he's in the jail and is tasked out for a impossible task (that he knows nothing about) which he alone can fulfill. The rest of the book follows him as he sets about this job. The book was a breezy read with good world-building. I loved the parts about the folklore and the twist in the ending.

I have really enjoyed this series so far. I am fully invested in Merit’s world and I think this series is getting even better as it goes and this is my favorite of the series so far. This book had me all over the place with all the twist and turns one minute I'm laughing and the next I'd like to hit someone over the head! Merit and Ethan’s relationship is as complicated as ever. I really don’t even know what to think about these two and am reluctant to count on this relationship because of all the up and downs but I also want it to work. I felt like this was the ‘get to know Ethan better’ book. We get a glimpse of his personality and of his heart as he reveals pieces of himself to Merit.

Review: Time to resume the P&C series read. ToN is coming out in a month and I want to do a complete re-read of the entire series. HtP ended up being a good refresh read. I'd forgotten some details in the book that I can think now and say, oh yeah, now it makes perfect sense. And I'm convinced now that (view spoiler) I can't wait for Ghost's book.

Review: This was my first read of Linnea Sinclair and I have to say that it was really good. In some ways the book was a difficult read; she obviously put a lot of thought into her universe building and for the first few chapters the jargon slowed me down. But at all times the story was interesting.
One thing that I loved about this book is that there were two romances developing at the same time. This meant four MCs instead of two and when the POV shifts among them there was a lot of room for confusion. But that didn't really happen as the different character would be named within the first sentence.
Overall, a very enjoyable read.

Review: This was a good 1st book to start a series. The world building was unique and interesting. In this future there are noble vamps, noble outcasts and fringe vamps that are descended from Judas. This world also has fae, hellhounds, ghosts and Comarre which are human hybrids bred to provide the purest and most powerful blood to the nobles that can afford them. Chrysabelle has just finished her 100 years of service when her patron is killed and she flees to clear her name from the murder. Of course there is a baddie b!#€h on her tail trying to frame her for political gain and the ring to fulfill an evil prophesy. This leads C to her retired mentor and then a rouge vamp Malkolm and his misfit crew for help. Lots of twists and turns, implied steam, mostly UF, and its a series I plan to continue with.

So what's everyone reading between now and the next shelf? I decided to join the land of lemmings and diving off the crowded cliff with

Review: This book was okay. I made the mistake of reading the next one before this, so I was confused a little at first. Pia is on vacation- on a singles tour- and is at the wrong place at the wrong time. She gets picked to be the next Zorya by accident then has to actually be one. She's thrown into a world she never knew existed and handles it quite well.
