Isobel is a girl Marco met in a cafe. They are just friends and she can read Tarot cards Isobel loves Marco, but Marco just sees her as a friend. Marco gets Isobel a job at the circus as a Fortune-teller with a secret agenda...keeping watch on his competition in the "game".

Is anyone else finding that reading the book is giving you a feeling exactly like everyone in the book reacts to the circus? Like it's a mysterious miracle or magical or something? The mood and style of writing in this book is fascinating to me.

Yes, even though I have completed the book, I have to admit I still find myself looking out the window hoping to see the black and white tents, lol. That may be weird, but honestly, this is one book I think I will remember for a very very long time!
