Right I've decided we're doing a group read. Any suggestions book wise?

you might try sorting some books and make a poll with them, and see who gets the most voted.
You can add like 10 books at first, and make another poll with the most 4 voted books or something like that, you can decide by simplification, it always works and you have the advantage of making polls.
