Derek (derek_broughton) | 29 comments La rocca di Tornor. Le cronache di Tornor vol. 1 has Elizabeth Lynn as the author, but it should be Elizabeth A. Lynn. Unfortunately, because it's Amazon sourced, I can't change the author name without knowing more than I do about the Italian (?) language version.

Emanuela ~plastic duck~ (manutwo) | 10 comments Sorry, I meant to edit my previous comment and deleted instead. It was already done, I just fixed the name of the author and did the merge.

Derek brought up an interesting point. There are a few cases when just fixing the name of the author or selecting the right primary author would help to make the book at least merge-able, but it's not possible to fix that with the edit details link.

Paula (paulaan) | 7014 comments In that case you need to merge the author profiles which will change the name on all editions of the book.

Just be careful and select the correct author profile to retain, making sure if the correct on does not have all the information that the information is added to the profile

I have a similar question:

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/92...

This book is in danger under the author Katie Flynn, and I cannot find an entry for it in WorldCat. I did find an early edition under Judith Saxon, a pen name for the same person, but that edition has a different ISBN. (I verified the names on the publishers website.)

I thought by adding the second author, I could do a combine, but it didn't work the way I thought it would. I'm gonna stop now. Can someone tell me how to complete the rescue?

vicki_girl | 2764 comments Jeanette, I went to the 'edit page'. There is a link at the bottom of the rescue page to skip the rescue and go directly to the edit page.

Then I switched the order of the authors so that Judith Saxon was first. I was then able to combine.

That's what I wanted to be sure about. I had already done one edit, but wasn't sure if what I wanted to do (another edit to switch author order) was proper opearating procedure.

Thank you very much, it took me a while to find it, but there it is :D

If you can't find it, on some of the book rescue pages it isn't there, just click on "other editions" and the edit details is right next to the edition.
