Granted, but the stories turned out to be a second Twilight Series, and then every country in the world declared war against you.

I wish I had a walk-in closet.

Granted, but then you would stuff so much stuff inside that one day you would open the doors, and an avalanche of clothes and shoes would collapse on you suffocating you.

I wish I could have some privacy.

Granted, but then some genetic mutation would occur and make you shrink even shorter than you were before, defeating the purpose of wishing to be taller.

I wish I couldn't get cavities.

Granted, but the serum used to keep them cleaned forever has a side effect of making people blind.

Granted, but then the edges of paper wouldn't be precise and thin anymore, instead thicker and rounder, making books with hundreds of pages, such as your history book or a Harry Potter book, too big to lift or store in a regular book shelf, therefore making a big fuss of things to the point where you can't handle the stress anymore and jump off of 10 stacked encyclopedia's to your death on top of the cover of a giant edition of New Moon.

I wish I could teleport to places.

Granted, but then the words would be so big they couldn't fit out of your mouth, and you spoke so rapidly with knowledge that you would explode into a word frenzy.

I wish I had a clear complexion.

Granted, but then people thought you were made of porcelain, and thought you were some weird sort of freak (sorry!)

I wish I was a more diligent worker.

Granted, but then you would fall behind in Chinese and math because english took up all your time, therefore shattering you're dream of going to MIT and being an engineer.

I wish I could multi-task (seriously multi-task).

Granted, but then you'd be swamped with requests from all those around you to help you with this, with that, and you'd go into major overload and collapse from exhaustioin. Phew. Long sentence.
