Sylvia (sylviahartstra) | 90 comments This book was listed to be merged. I wanted to fix it, because I own a copy of the book, but the publication date for this ISBN is wrong. It says September 2011.
It has been released first in May 2011 and a second release in August 2011. I own the August copy. The publisher is www.noordboek.nl where I ordered the book.
Also the title of my version is the one that might be merge.
Title: Emo's reis
subtitle: Een historisch culturele ontdekkingstocht door Europa in 1212
Can anybody change the original publication date and/or rescue this one?

Can you tell me what the ISBN is for the volume you own? Then I'll see what I can do to help.

Sylvia (sylviahartstra) | 90 comments Thanks Jeanette. The number is 9789033007880. It's the same number which is already in the GR database

I'll look at it and see if I can figure it out.

I went in and edited the original publication date to be May 2011. Try to rescue it now. Let me know. I prefer that you rescue it, because you can check the box. :)

Sylvia (sylviahartstra) | 90 comments OK! Thanks for your help. I'll do it first thing in the morning.

Post back here, and let me know. It's late where you are!

Sylvia (sylviahartstra) | 90 comments Hey Jeannette, yes it was about midnight. I fixed it now and it vanished from my list. Thanks for helping me.

Most welcome. :)

Is that the Dutch version I helped you with?

Sylvia (sylviahartstra) | 90 comments Yes, it is. I don't know if there's any other version already. Would be wonderful, because it's a kind of travel experience of a Dutch monk, who went from the north of the Netherlands (Groningen) to Rome to see the pope. He traveled in midwinter, because his message to the pope was very urgent. It's based on real facts.

I was just curious about the language (I'm keeping a personal tally.) I should have figured it out on my own, because of the .nl at the end of the link you posted. It's interesting, too, because being able to read German, I can decipher some Dutch. But, spoken Dutch is not like German, at all.

It does sound like an interesting story! I'll add it to my tbr, and maybe I can find it in German.

Sylvia (sylviahartstra) | 90 comments By the end of February I'm going to an reading and a signing session. I will ask the author if there's any chance that this book will be translated in other languages as well. I'll keep you informed.
