The book The Amanda Project by Amanda Valentino is about a girl named Amanda who disapears. Callie (Amanda's friend,the girl telling the story)and two other of Amanda's friends (Hal and Nia) are blamed for something that Amanda does. As they are cleaning up Amanda's mess the tension builds between Nia and Callie not only that but they find out that Amanda's mess is a message in disguise. What it is they still have to find out.

Nothing like a tension in a story. Stories are not interesting if there is nothing happening and some good ol' conflict is usually the best thing for a story! nice!
