Kayla Stonor (kaylastonor) | 4 comments Under By Duress by Kayla Stonor
Free Kindle Book on Amazon 18th August.

Under By Duress by Kayla Stonor is my new Erotic Romance novella, the first in a building collection I've called the Surrender Series. Each novella focuses on the surrender of a strong, alpha man in circumstances that allow him to fall in love with the woman who has him whipped. The journey to love is tough (especially for the hero), but tests the character of both hero and heroine.

Emily Shore (emilyshore) | 6 comments My name is Emily Shore.

I’ve written 12 books in many genres but have 2 books published in the paranormal category, one a zombie love story, Flesher (Flesher Series #1) by Emily Shore and one a vampire series Roseblood (Roseblood Series #1) by Emily Shore to combat the Twilight copycats. Available as eBooks everywhere!

Roseblood (Roseblood Series #1) by Emily Shore
I loved Twilight but I noticed so many books after seemed to have the same premise - human girl doesn't know anything about vampires, meets one and falls in love. Roseblood is just the opposite - about a human girl born into a family and an entire city of vampires and werewolves. It is a coming of age story as well as a murder mystery because Reina Caraway, prophesied Queen of vampires and werewolves, dreams of the murders encompassing her city, murders which draw ever closer to her inner circle.

Flesher (Flesher Series #1) by Emily Shore
Flesher, on the other hand, is emotionally complex and is ultimately a story of redemption involving a girl who hides her fiance in her basement because he turns into a zombie at night but not during the day. In her world, the zombies are called fleshers and are believed to be spiritually cursed.

My characters never leave me alone so I’m always writing. Check out Roseblood and Flesher if you're a YA or paranormal fan!

Paula | 15 comments Hi everyone,

I am a self-published author, of 'Who Needs Paradise?' a somewhat unusual romantic comedy available on Kindle.

Details here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Who-Needs-Par...

if you're interested and, so you know if you're interested, blurb below:

He’s a Catholic priest. She’s old enough to be his mother. They’re both dead.

It’s not your average romance…

When Father Daniel O’Reilly presided at the funeral of valued churchgoer Mildred Perkins, it was supposed to be a way to say goodbye. Instead, it proved an unexpected hello to a remarkable woman he never truly knew. Their fates now intertwined, Daniel joins long-suffering Mildred on a quest through the afterlife in search of her one true love. As officious angels and pining demons alike offer varying degrees of aid to their search, Mildred and Daniel’s eyes are opened - and expectations confounded – as they learn the truth about heaven, hell and all that lies between.

I have to confess I've just started looking at these types of forums due to publishing the book. I'd love to make better use of them than just posting an advert and heading off into the sunset. They seem to be a really good set of communities but I find them very complicated to get the hang of and I don't want to 'add' any of my friends from other network sites, if they're not already members. Any advice on how to make forums work for me?

Look at what other people do I guess:) I am not the best person to comment though, I am pretty new to it myself:)

I like your blurb by the way:)

P.A. Ross | 2 comments Hi, have just self published. Yes professionally edited as well.

I decided to write it upon noticing many of the recent vampire books in the market had a similar formula or idea in their central story. Girl meets the ultimate bad boy, a vampire. She helps him hold onto his humanity and he falls in love with her. That maybe a bit overly simplified, but why do we never hear the opposite story? Boy meets ultimate bad girl, a vampire. Not sure! Would the story follow the same relationship dynamic? I doubt it.

This is my story of what happens when you reverse the roles.

Three Twigs for the Campfire

Billy is more than a little nervous. Even with all the excitement of his first kid only camp out, there is something truly bothering him. Listen to the fire crackle as the Miller children, in their campfire tradition, each tell a story. Will the fire last till Billy can fall asleep? Worse yet, what will happen when it is his turn to tell a story? Lastly, why won’t the fly and mosquito buzzing around the campfire leave him alone?

Mike Miller (mikeemiller) | 9 comments Hi, everyone. I am the author of The Timekeeper's Son, which launches in just under a week (Sept 3). I'm also hosting a giveaway that runs between now and September 4.

The Timekeeper's Son is suspenseful novel about Andy Meyers, a thirty-five-year-old man who suddenly finds himself reliving his own childhood. Literally. He wakes up one morning to find that he is nine-years-old again and he is poised to reenact a series of tragic events that altered his life forever.

And things get even more complicated when Andy discovers an impossible note. Someone knows he has come back. Someone who will stop at nothing to keep him from changing anything.

Massimo Marino | 37 comments Hi there, to describe Daimones allow me to use the words form one of the reviewers.

"It is a post-apocalyptic vision that is stunning in its breadth and complexity. It easily rivals the power of Stephen King's THE STAND and Neville Shute's ON THE BEACH." - James A. Anderson, Author of "Deadline" and "The Scorpion"

It is the first of a series of PA novels tracing the rebirth of the human race.

message 226: by Lenny (new)

Lenny | 2 comments I'm the author of three books of poetry.
A WILDERNESS OF RICHES: VOICES FROM THE VIRGINIA COLONY is based on historical research of the the first few decades of the Virginia Colony, the first permanent English colony in the New World. The speaker of one section is Pocahontas as an adult. The speakers in another section are English women sent to the colony as future brides.

THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO THE SEVEN DWARFS is a retelling of Snow White as told by the dwarfs. It explains how the queen was the fairest of the fair for so long, how the poison joined the apple, who invented (and why) the magic mirror and other quandaries.

FRENZY OF COLOR, REVERIE OF LINE: POEMS ON VINCENT VAN GOGH'S LIFE AND ART is a series of poems which retells the artist's poignant and painful life as well as brings to life a handful of his drawings and paintings. The poems are presented with reproductions of the artwork mentioned.

All are on Amazon.

Also I write a poetry blog:

Ray | 3 comments Hi all!

I wrote a technothriller, which I've broken up into a 3 part series and published for Kindle.

I wanted to write a fast-paced story with cool technology that was hard to put down, but I also wanted to explore some philosophical questions about the meaning of life and our place in the universe.

The Reborn Of Mice and Hitmen The Spiritual Singularity

It took about 4 years of my spare time on and off to write and edit, and another 2 to get readers and feedback for revisions.

It recently picked up steam as I had a free promotion on Amazon for it, and it began listing high in technothriller best seller lists (#1 in free, and #20 in paid).

I also got my first fan letter recently, which has made it all worthwhile. Of course, the process was satisfying, too, after getting over the initial "I need to sit down and write" phase of every day. (My website and books are here.)
