Victoria | 26 comments Nina, My hd+ will do that when I need to clear my web history and or clear my apps cache. I do agree the hd+ has a lot of little things that can be a pain but over all I like mine.

Nina (marshnina) | 60 comments I have no apps on the hd+ or email and do not use as a tablet. I do currently have a cover, but this has happened since I took the nook out of the box. The original one and the replacement one. So frustrated!

Leiah Cooper (leiahingolden) | 65 comments That is very odd. And such a shame that you are having problems! My Kindle was a nightmare - my Nook, now that I have the cover off, is no problem whatsoever. I run the web, use it as a tablet, pretty much whatever I need to do can get done on the Nook with the bluetooth keyboard. Emails are no issue, and I can read both mobi and epub files, as well as pdf, and update my Excel spreadsheet for books that I have read and others that need to be added.

Check with your local B&N expert - they are much better trained than any on line personnel!

Good luck!
Leiah

Bonnie | 66 comments I knew nothing about eReaders a month ago but I was beginning to want one just before my birthday on July 22. I looked them up online but that didn't seem very helpful and the Nook hd+ was sold out online at Barnes & Noble anyway so when I went in Walmart, I noticed they had begun carrying different brands of eReaders and tablets, except no Kindles of course. So I checked out the display of the other brands and the Nook hd+ and immediately liked it the best. I loved that it was a tablet too:-) I later looked up Kindles and watched videos of comparisons of the the Nook hd+ and the Kindle Fire and I am pleased with my purchase. Its not that I don't like Kindles. Its just that I can count a few advantages of the Nook hd+ over the Kindle Fire such as: my Nook hd+ has a slot for a memory card (Kindle apparently does not), I have the Kindle app on it and can read all my books on one device (I hear you can't have the nook app on a Kindle), the Nook hd+ tablet is noticeably lighterweight than the Kindle, AND watching a drop test video, the screen on the Kindle shattered if dropped face down whereas the Nook hd+ did not appear to have been damamged. So, having said all that, I am a happy girl with my Nook hd+!

Also, the nice thing about getting it at Walmart is that you can buy a three year warranty package for it instead of just having the one year warranty it comes with:-)
