I loved this interview! Great wit and humor, all while underscoring the need for creativity and reading.
This interview made my day. Last weekend I was at the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators conference and everyone was talking about it, so of course I had to download and watch. Such a riot! Colbert: If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.

And I want a copy of I Am a Pole (And So Can You).
This is a great interview. Sendak is nothing like I would have imagined!
I learned a new word from this interview! MILF And then the next day I heard it again on "Glee". LOL I had to look it up to see what it stood for. (Blushing now)I'll have to use it three times a day, and then I have learned it for life! tee hee
