The walk through(s) of 3323 North Michigan Street by Mark and Jimbo were VERY creepy. I would not have wanted to read those parts late at night with any sort of noises in the house. How could the police have left so much in this house that was supposed to have been a past crime scene?
I was picturing the smaller rooms in the Kalendar house with the labyrinth of passages around them and between floors and then the sense of dread was added when Mark started understanding what had happened in the house, the house of his distant cousin. Omar Hillyard is pretty creepy too!
Creepy, is right! I would have never had that kind of nerve... and they were only 15 years old! And, yeah, why hadn't the police torn that place apart? Why was it left with all those blood stains and that awful bed. Urgh!!!
Seems as though we have the same question for the police; Why was all of that evidence left inside the house? There was some mention of DNA forensics not having been available then, so only samples were collected. Still, is a house really left abandoned like that with so much evidence all over? Maybe I've watched too many mysteries in which every fiber is bagged and tagged!
I've always thought that houses with secret passages were kinda cool...but the creep factor in this one would have out-weighed my curiosity. Especially when things that I "misplaced" ended up where I know I didn't put them.
Runnnnnn!
Runnnnnn!
I feel the same about secret passages; would love to see a house with them.... but not THIS house. UGH!
