I was so excited to get to visit Tasmania while I was living in Sydney, it's a truly beautiful place!!!

The Hobbit was the book that changed my life forever and made me a reader for life too!! I've read it more than ten times lol

1. When I was little I truly despised reading. I considered it a form of torture. My mom would have to force me to read my summer reading books for school. Now she teases me that every time she sees me I either have a book or my nook with me or I'm talking about a book I just read.
2. The only time I wear flip flops or sandals is if I'm going to the beach or pool. I am grossed out by feet. On a normal day it's flats or sneakers....heels if I'm feeling fancy.
3. I personally believe mint chocolate chip ice cream is the best ice cream that's ever been made. Oh and I'm talking about the green kind. I'm not that huge of a fan of the white....although, just to be clear, I still eat both and wouldn't turn either down if they were offered to me.
4. I love when my friends come to me and say "I wanna read 'this type of book'. Whatcha got for me?"
5. In my very close group of family friends, I basically consider them extended family because I grew up with them, there are 4 Jennifer's. My mom's best friend's daughter is the oldest. My sister in law (mini fun fact: she and my brother have been together since they were 14...I was 11) is the second oldest. My dad's best friends daughter (another mini fun fact: my dad's best friend and my mom's best friend got married about 7-8 years ago so Jenn 1 and Jen 3 are step sisters) is the third oldest. And I am the baby out of the Jennifer's.

1. I collect lip balm (have close to 1000 right now). It started innocently enough with just a handful and then things got a bit „out of hand“. I love how the brands change their designs, how they look in other countries, the funny tastes they come up with (Wasabi, Bacon etc), the yummy tastes they come up with (addicted to anything with honey or/and milk).

2. I dispised coffee till the age of 23, since then I am addicted, not drinking much, maybe 2 or 3 cups tops per day, but I love it, will always remind me to sharing coffee with my granny, first she used to prepare it, when she was a bit less agile she prepared the coffee and I had to pour the boiling water (yes, old fashioned style) over it, and in her last years I had to do it all. But it was always very nice and comfy to sit in her kitchen and share a coffee, she passed away a few years ago though.

3. I am afraid to read my favorite books I read as a (young) teenager again, as I fear it will destroy the memory and make me less fond of those books. Childhood books will always stay precious I think.

4. I love photography but it is competing with my reading time. I always feel like letting one passion down for the other.

5. I used to write scripts and stories when I was around 16-19, I guess it started as fanfiction, finally getting the couples from shows together, who just couldn't get it right, then fully made up stories. A friend did the same and we we featured in those stories ourselves, getting the celeb (in a role) of our current choice. I was a bit undecided at times and begged her to drop the one guy from the story and bring in my latest tv crush. ;-)

That is EXACTLY why October is my favorite :)! Sure, you can rent a movie or watch what is on Netflix anytime you want, that is scary. BUT, watching scary movie after scary movie on TV...nothing beats that :)
