Hi Amy, my husband same way. Men don't really get it. I like to imagine fantasy world like books I read too, especially Lycans . I have 2 kids so I'm always looking for an escape so to speak. I think you will find quite a few people here like you and who share your passion for reading

Hi Amy, you're welcome:). Actually it's a wolf I adopted from the international wolf center. Her name is Luna. We do have a shepherd/husky mix plus 2 other dogs and 3 cats. We'd have a horse too if we had the room:). We love animals.

1. I work at a bank as a teller, and I'm technically not allowed to read, sooo my Nook is hidden in my top drawer where I read whenever possible (without getting busted!) Also, this is one of the few sites that isn't blocked at work, which is how I found it!2. I have a beautiful daughter who will be four in a couple of days. She's the light of my life, but she also distracts me from my reading! And she steals my Nook to play games. But I still love her!
3. My husband is my best friend and the absolute love of my life! I fell in love with him the moment I met him and I love him more and more each day.
4. I live in New York, but I'm from Pennsylvania. I live about two hours south of Buffalo, NY and about four hours north of Pittsburgh, PA. Go Steelers!!
5. I love, love, love football! As stated above, my team is and always will be the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, I'm married to a Bills fan, which makes football season quite interesting and puts our poor daughter right in the middle of it. Thankfully, she likes the Steelers too. Mommy always wins!

I love to run, about as much as I love to read.
1. I live in the Midwest. Indianapolis, Indiana to be exact...and LOVE the Indianapolis Colts!!2. I am the mother of 3 children, a son and two daughters.

4. I am an avid reader of just about anything that peaks my interest, but YA is definitely my favorite.
5. My first book, Essence released on the sixteenth of this month and the second, Enlightened is due out this April.
1. I live in VT with my husband, two sons and 8 chickens.2. I used to be a New Yorker, for 16 years. Moving up here, I've had to learn some new things. Example: chickens don't mind when it's 20 below, except when their water freezes.
3. I read 200 books last year in YA / NA / Contemp Romance.
4. My debut romance comes out from Harlequin in 7 days, and I'm so excited. But my NA stuff comes out later in the year.
5. I love things that are sour: wine, cherries, anything citrus. Yum.

I really enjoy interacting with the customers though, so I'm not sure that I'd want to move up. Although it's nice to know that it's a possibility. Again, it's more than any previous job offered! And it is nice to wake up and not dread going to work. Hopefully you'll be able to find a job at a veternarian office soon!
1. I met my husband in college and we dated for 9 years before getting married. I still call him my boyfriend sometimes by accident. 2. I live in Hawaii but I'm terrified of the ocean and refuse to go any deeper than where the water reaches my waist (dude, that's the sharks' turf, it's THEIR turf!)
3. I think I spend more time looking for books to read than I do actually reading them, and considering how many unread books I own, this doesn’t make much sense to me.
4. I've gotten into the habit of logging into GR during my lunch break instead of socializing with my office coworkers like I used to (it's ok, they're talking about a bunch of stupid crap right now anyway)
5. My parents call my dog their grandson. I've asked them repeatedly to stop but it’s useless.

What kind of music do you make? (Make, compose, write, not sure which would be the right word)
Play is more like it. I'm a guitarist and lyricist. And it ranges from crunk rock to Christian worship (the modern rock kind).
Let's see, 5 things about me...1.)I'm deathly afraid of earthworms(those little suckers will burrow right inside your body and eat you!!)
2.)I was bullied relentlessly as a kid(all the way through high school...sigh)but yes, there's a silver lining - I wrote to escape my troubles and can now tell all those mean ol' bullies that I got signed by a publishing company and have a New Adult book series coming out - mwhaha!!
3.)I love the Ohio State Buckeyes!
4.) I have 14 tattoo's(and they're all hidden)
5.)I have Adult ADD - and I still somehow managed to write a book series - we'll just say it took a little while ;)

I found my old post to see how much things are different in a year and a half heres my old top 5 and im going to edit them as been away for so long!!!! and hey everyone new !!1. i am a mum to 3 beautiful children aged 3, 1 and 8 months (now aged 4,3 and 2)
2.when i was pregnant i ate sugar with a spoon !!!!! (this hasnt changed i did lol)
3. met my fiance on the internet about 8 years ago but only met up 5 years ago and are now getting married next year (i broke off the wedding as i found out children's dad coudlnt keep it in his pants !!! buuut everything happens for a reason and i have met a wonderful guy who doesn't mind me having 3 children and treats me better than ive ever been treated )
4. i have gone down 3 dress sizes and lost 2 and a half stone since having my little boy ( i have now lost 4 and half stone :))
5. my first meal i made for my partner was beans on toast :-0 as i had never learned how to cook now i make everything from scratch i can bake and even make my own burgers !!! (first meal i made my new partner was a homemade pie :))

Well here I go...1. I'm from the Philippines but I moved to Australia about six years ago with my mum.

Yes! I think I spend more time looking for books to read than actually reading books, too. It's some sort of weird addiction. I love books and I love reading books. Two different things.

My husband isn't a reader either and he thinks my passion for books is an affliction. Conversely, I don't understand his passion for football so...there you go. My father and my brother are readers, but they only read non-fiction so...I hope I'm able to instill a love for fiction in my two sons, as well as my two daughters.
1. I grew up in California, but recently moved to Erie, PA and finally feel like I'm "home".2. Prior to the advent of Goodreads, I used an Access database to manage my book lists. Because...SO many books.
