1) I have 2 cockatiels and a rabbit. I love animals.
2) I have a teenage son (like I said, I loove animals!)
3) I'm from New York but fanatical about Tudor/Stuart English history - my wife is even descended from one of Charles II's 17 acknowledged illegitimate children!
4) I'm Jewish.
5) I hate, loate and despise unhappy endings and always read the end of the book first to save myself grief (hence, I don't do mysteries).

Hmmmm let's see....what to put:

1. I'm a music education major.
2. I read about 10 books a week. :)
3. Reading books is not helpful to my procrastination problem....but they are just so amazing.
4. I live in Oregon, one of the most depressingly cloudy but beautiful places to live.
5. I have two dogs (a pompoo and a chocolate lab), two cats (a tabby and a lynx-point Siamese), and a beta-fish who lives in a pickle jar. ^.^

1. I was born in Malaysia around 28 years ago on Christmas' eve. My parents was married at the same year I was born, on Valentine's Day, and my only sibling, my younger sister was born on 6th Feb just a shy few days from my parent's anniversary. Nice biological timing right?

2. I study civil engineering in college, but I end up as an office administrator. Don't ask me how. But I love my job!

3. My mom is Malay-Pakistani and my dad is Javanese-Chinese. Some people thinks I'm from Hawaii. errr...

4. Confession time! I just pick up reading because I've broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years around December last year. Worst birthday ever. yeah I know.

5. I'm mildly lactose intolerant but I love double cheeseburger. Well, nobody died because lactose intolerant right? I hope...

2. I read my favorite fantasy books out loud to my kids just to have the excuse to re-read them.

5. When I was a kid I wanted to be an underwater archeologist, so I could research, find and dive a shipwreck full of treasure. I still do.

I'm an avid reader of the Stuart Kings, at least Charles I, the Civil Wars, the Protectorate, and Charles II. The books on that period are in my 'keeper' collection.

Boyfriends are overrated. Welcome to single life. :) I have been single for a year and half, and after always being the chick that needed to have a man. This break is exactly want I needed. When your single you can enjoy so much more, and have more time on your hands. Also you don't have to impress anyone if you don't want. For example I haven't shaved my legs in 3 months. :p

Let's see....5 things about me....

1. I will graduate May 2013 with a degree in Child and Adolescent Development. After that I plan on going back to get two Special Education Credentials, along with getting a masters in Special Education. I want to teach and I don't care what grade.

2. This summer will be my 6th year working at a summer camp for children with disabilities and my 5th year working with adults with disabilities.

3. I always have a book and my nook with me when I leave my house. Because I never know when I might have time to finish a chapter or start a new book. Even more so during semesters at school.

4. My journey into reading is kinda odd. I hated reading in 1/2/3 grade because I was behind my fellow students. My mom took it into her own hands and got me a tutor who helped me catch up to my friends. And once I started reading along with my peers I did not stop. By 4th grade I was reading middle school grade books and in 5th grade I was reading high school grade books. And to this day I'm still reading.

5. I don't like odd numbers. Whenever I'm dealing with numbers it has to be even. I think it has to do with my teacher side in me because an even number is easy to make teams/groups with.

6. See 5!!! I had to do it. The 5 was bugging me. Hope everyone is enjoying the current book(s) they are reading.

1. I love puzzles--jigsaw, crossword, logic--you name it.
2. When I was in elementary school, one of my short stories was read on a local television station's children's show, and I became a celebrity for quite a while afterward at school.
3. I spent a winter on my stepfather's trapline, which inspired me to write my first published novel.
4. My favourite colour is blue--all shades of it.
5. I love snowshoeing.

Up here in Northern Ontario, Canada, we get quite a bit of snow usually and snowshoes help us to trek through the bush where there are no trails.

Aahh... gotcha! No, not much snow down here in Los Angeles. lol. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I was also raised in St. Louis, so I do have some snow experience, but we never had it that much, and not consistently enough to need special shoes.
