I erred in Lists -- can they be merged?

There is no way to merge lists at this time. However, the new one only has votes from you and one other person. If you and she both add your votes to the first list, someone can delete the newer list.
Otherwise, don't worry too much about it.

I was just thinking earlier on that after this Amazon craziness I would suggest a Listopia clean-up project with the possibility to merge lists as a request. Is this something on the to-do list rivka, or something to dream about in the far, far, far away future?
It has been discussed by the devs before, but I can't tell you what its likelihood of happening soon is.
It's worth noting that some people create duplicate lists when they reach the 100-vote limit on a list!I used to think we should merge a lot of the duplicate lists but I see a lot of pitfalls with it.
I have moved my votes to the other list and contacted the other person who voted. I thought I remembered seeing a "delete this list" button somewhere, but I can't find it.
May I request that my list, "Best Historic Cookbooks," be deleted? It's at:

I created the list "Best Historic Cookbooks" yesterday, but today while fixing up the book entry for "To the King's Taste" I noticed it was also on an earlier list called "Historical Cookery."
I.e. I goofed and created a new list that is not really different from the older one.
I can't judge which list is better-named, but may my list please be merged with theirs? I don't know how to do it. The lists really are redundant, though, and need merging.
