how to delete library books from basic kindle?

I borrowed a library book via overdrive and returned it from my Amazon account. It's definitely gone from there. Now I keep having a message on my home page: "[Loan Ended] Book Title." There seems to be nothing in either the home menu or the book menu about removing it.

(Grimamach, I was thinking Kindle library lending would be easier than Nook, but so far it's 6 of 1...)

Oh, I figured it out. Go to the home page, be on the item, and hit the left button of the center thingie. That asks if you want to remove it.
