You can add multiple editions of the same work to your self. Here's how:
1. Find the edition that you want to add.
2. Go to the main page for that edition.
3. Below the book info is your review.
4. At the top of your review info box there are two options: "switch to this edition" and "review this edition".
5. Select "review this edition". It will add the additional edition to your shelf, while still keeping the one you already had.
To kind of go along with this question: Is there a way I can have two editions of a book show in my read folder? I previously read an edition published in 2000 and have now read the updated version published in 2009. I want to separate them out for myself since I would rank them differently. The book in question is http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/63...
I was accepted as a Librarian, today. After I correct my several errors, I will look at works by authors I have read. I correspond with a statistician, Wm Briggs. http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...
offers this
"Christian Instruction in the Public Schools of Ontario
by James Middlemiss, Briggs William Briggs, William Briggs"
Four editions are listed; they appear identical.
I have no copy; is it possible to contact the member[s] who entered the entries?
There is no rush: I am going back to the Manual, tonight.
