Love him, he's awesome! Remember, like all of the bad boys that we love, there's a reason behind why he behaves the way he does. He lets his true colours shine towards the end when he thinks nobody knows...

And yeah, read the extras from Daemon's point of view, they also go a way to explain him.

I think I'm one of the very few that wasn't all that impressed with Daemon..he was just too hot and cold.. which is so overdone in YA books. I think I'd like him more if he wasn't so arrogant and full of himself. I hope in Onyx he doesn't mess with Katy's feelings and I really hope that he doesn't get touchy feely with his ex.. I really hate when the hero is all over another girl.

I love, love, love, Daemon! He's hot, sexy, and well... Just addicting. I cannot wait for the sequel. I love the YA heros who are hot, arrogent, and sarcastic. They are much more intresting and real, than those that are soft and too overly caring all at once. They are supposed to be teenagers after all.
