Nico is the son of Hades the greek god of the dead.Nico's mother was human and Hades a god which equals a half-blood.

Um...The Underworld? Or sometimes at his cabin at camp half-blood ,but it was said he doesn't stay for long, so no one really knows I think. Unless I missed something.
If they met, everything in the world that was dead would come alive and work for them. end of story.

But in both books, Anubis and Nico are portrayed as young gothic boys, highly misunderstood and aloof. So yeah, you can see the similarity.

What makes you think they don't hang out? I mean, Nico knew about the Roman gods/kids in "Heroes of Olympus" (Son of Neptune) series, and Riordan does hint to the Egypt/Greek connection in Kane Chronicles.

Okay first, EVERYONE should Percy Jackson. Its brilliant and addictive and will make you obsess over which god or goddess is your parent and when they might finally claim you.
