I read the book Amelia Bedelia's First Day of School. It was a really funny book and reminded me of when I was young and it was my first day of school. She goes into school not knowing anything about it and doesn't fully understand what everyone is saying to her. I like that she can make fun out of every situation and it teaches you to be more optimistic in life. For example, because Amelia was running around the classroom the teacher asked her to glue herself to her seat. Amelia took this question literally and actually glues herself to her chair. Instead of the teacher reprimanding her for doing something wrong, she laughed it off and helped her out of the chair. This made Amelia want to come back to school the next day!
