I have so many books that I am anxious to read, though I keep changing my mind about what to read next. A co-worker just donated three copies of the book "Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Misson to Promote Peace...One School at a Time" by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin to our local libraries and also saved one to share with friends. I think this is what I will read next, though I have also been anxious to read "Memoirs of a Geisha" by Arthur Golden, "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini and what looks to be a cute little book I recently splurged on named " Enslaved By Ducks" by Bob Tarte. Oh and I also just got "The Good, Good Pig" by Sy Montgomery from the library. So I have a lot of reading to do, and not enough time to do it!
Lately I have read both books by Marisa De Los Santos, "Love Walked In" and "Belong To Me"; I liked the first one better, but they were both good. I just read "Wild Goose Chase" by Terri Thayer which was a great little (quilting) mystery, and I read a gem of a little book named "Making Ripples" by Mike Breaux which I recommend everyone to read!
I have to add that right before the ones listed above I read "The Thirteenth Tale" by Diane Setterfield and really enjoyed it! It was a little (or a lot) weird in places but I think the girl who just loves books and gets to write the autobiography of a famous author certainly kept me hooked.
Does anyone have recommendations on which book I should read next? :)
