Kristena Tunstall (kristenatunstall) | 3 comments Hello Everyone,

My name is Kristena Tunstall and I have been married to the love of my life, Keith Tunstall, for over 18 years. We had one child who contracted E. coli in 2008 and passed away only 16 short days later. My life, as you can imagine, turned upside and every which way trying to guide through the new life that now lay before me.

On October 21, 2008, about three months after our precious little girl passed away, I had all these thought floating around in my head that I just had to get down. I sat at my kitchen table and started plucking away at my laptop keyboard. It was on this day that I decided to start a dedication website/blog in honor of our precious angel now in heaven.

Since that first day, my grief journey has been shared with my family, friends and anyone I might come in contact as well as those who find it either from search engines or from someone they know.

As my writing journey started I had no idea that I would eventually attempt to write my first ever fiction book. This has been an exciting journey that I started about a year ago. I had written the first two chapters when my husband and I took custody of our niece and nephew last summer. I took about a six month hiatus and then picked back up my writing in January. Since then, I have completed my first draft of the novel and I am now into editing it.

I also have in the works a nonfiction book about my daughter’s life. My plan is that for every book I sell, both the nonfiction and fiction ones, to give part of the proceeds to a memorial scholarship fund in honor of my daughter for those who want to teach children with autism.

Some I also recently started was a new website/blog dedicated to my fiction writing. Please come check out both sites. I’d love to hear from you and I reply to all comments and emails sent to me personally.

If you follow me I will follow you. I look forward to getting to know all of you.

On a side note, I am going through and trying to follow as many of the blogs listed.

C.L. I have changed my blog from Coloring Without Crayons to Short Mysteries and Tall Tales. Why? It just suits me better. After all I am a Christian writer who writes short mysteries with a bit of a tall tale in them. However, I'm also on the hunt for other short stuff by authors that may not be so commonly known. Such as in my most recent post about a short story called Powder Blue and Hawthorne. What's Powder Blue and Hawthorne? Come to the blog and see at how to find out at http://www.shortmysteriesandtalltales...

message 141: by Catherine (new)

Catherine Mallicoat (birdmartin) | 2 comments My blog is http://everyonehasastory.me/ and it is basically my diary from the last year. My husband of 22 years became addicted to a drug, and everything spiraled completely out of control from there. A member of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club, my husband had every resource imaginable to keep him sick, and I had very little to work with to try to battle that.
I had a wild ride this last year. I've learned a lot of lessons about God, mankind, sin, compassion, forgiveness, and discovering who you are without all the titles we tend to get trapped in.
