Lou (liee) | 15 comments I have this book which is a Finnish translation of Plutarch's one essay. It has an ISBN. So far so good. But! The book also has a Swedish translation of the essay on the other side of it (like if you flip the book it has the other translation "upside down" as regards to the first translation) and it has its own ISBN.

So how should I add this book? Two ISBNs for one physical book, the page numbers etc.

Sandra | 31515 comments Sorry, can't remember how to do that Laura, but I seem to remember Paula? told someone how to do that, some time ago, so no doubt she'll pop in and tell us again :)

Paula (paulaan) | 7014 comments Failed :) I cannot remember and doing searches does not bring this up. I know if it had one ISBN then we would add one edition using a / between titles and noting in description that it was an upside down book. Edit along with the other ISBN.

I would add a separate edition for each putting the title belonging to the ISBN in the first position / followed by second title. Noting in the description field that it is a two in one bound upside down book. Edit along with the other ISBN.

I think we need a rivka moment for this

Two ISBNs for one book? WHY?!?

I think Paula's suggestion makes as much sense as anything.

Lou (liee) | 15 comments That is an excellent question, rivka. I've been wondering it myself.

So I guess I'm going along with Paula's suggestion. Two separate editions.

Thanks!
