I'm about halfway through the book and after I finish it I'm going to be starting the Fever series by Ms. Moning.

Hey guys how is everyone doing with the Hunger Games... R U LOVING IT??!! Because I know I did :) TEAM PEETA all the way
I love the Hunger Games and can't wait to see the movies!!
So I started the book at about 9 or 10pm this evening. Its now 2am, I've just finished book one and needless to say, I loved it! Totally unputdownable. I was reading some of the other posts before starting Hunger Games and for the life of me couldn't understand why people were making such a big fuss about the baker's son. After reading the book?... well suffice to say, I've joined the "We love Peeta" fanclub :) My plan of action? Some sleep and then tackling book 2 ASAP! :) *waving good-night*

I'm happy you liked it and I have started the second already and i am adoring it just as much as the first!

I see what u mean about finding it disappointing because it didnt live up to all the hype it was getting. I wasnt going to read it just for that reason but now i am glad i did... ;)
I loved these books. By the way, a new trailer for the Hunger Games movie was just released. I'm very annoyed with how they convey Katniss receiving the Mockingjay pin; that it was Prim who gave it to her and not the Mayor's daughter Madge. Just makes me worried. If they're already previewing things that they have changed then what else have they altered and aren't showing?
Good point, Courtney. It seems that when movies are made from great books they end up ruining them changing not only characters but major plot points. If they are not going to do the books complete justice I'd rather they not make the movie at all.
I think the movie is going to be great. I wasn't disappointed by the Harry Potter movies and hopefully I'm not disappointed by the Hunger Games movie.
I do like the books and love some of the characters; but I feel like its missing something in this book series . I can't put my finger on it put, when I read other dystopia books like brave new world or f451( which I love) don't have a dissatisfying feeling like that I get with hunter games. Was wounding if anyone else had that same feeling. Like I said I do like the books but feel like they could have been more to them.
