I'm kinda new to GR, so feel free to friend me or recommend me some books!

My name is Adrianna and I'm currently living in Florida.
I don't have my fingers dipped in a lot of fantasy so I'm not an experienced fantasy reader, but my favorite authors seem to be Karen Miller, Kristen Britain, and Neil Gaiman (does he count as fantasy? I don't know haha)
Not much for me to share, but I'm hoping with the help of this group I can make some friends and broaden my fantasy knowledge :)

I plan to. My Mistborn Trilogy is on the way. I have all of the WOT books but I have trouble starting it because I'm not used to reading mass market paperbacks (the small ones). When I start reading it, should I start with The Eye of the World or New Spring?

Ilona Andrews - I could read anything that this couple would write.
Rob Thurman - she is like her Trickstar
Mr. King - and I don't have to say anything. He is the King
I have lot more authors who I really like to read and I'll not finish today if I start write every name.
Nice to meet y'all.
PS. I love English language, with it's all different accents.

I am E. Milan. I live in NYC currently, originally from Long Island. I'm a pilot and I also dabble in writing. I have one self-published novel so far and I'm working on several other projects. I've always loved reading and I tend to read most genres though I have a love for fantasy. After a while I always get that craving for a great epic to read. Like many I have my ever growing Tolkien collection. Probably the most recent fantasy series that has infected me is R. Scott Bakker's series. The first three were amazing, The Judging Eye not so much. I actually haven't read White Luck Warrior yet.
I'll end the post there, I hope to get involved in more discussions on the board.
Thanks for having me,
E. Milan

i have always loved fantasy, and was a bit disappointed when i could not find a single person here in india who shared my interest in speculative fiction.
hence i decided to go international...
i love jim butcher, rothfuss, grrm, tolkein, clarke, tad williams, and rowling as authors...
i also love reading comics with sandman, the dark knight returns, fables, 100 bullets and y the last man being my favourites
i would love to be a part of the discussion in the group and thanks for letting me join!!

I am fairly new to Goodreads and this group. Looking forward to great discussions!

I'm a high school English teacher, and unfortunately, we can't really teach fantasy fiction in my AP class, but I do recommend titles constantly. Tolkien, Eddings, Anthony, Goodkind, LeGuin... so many favorites, for so many different reasons. I'm always interested in adding new friends and seeing what people are reading.
Be well! Until we chat again...
David

Mike, oh I am sure! Thanks for the welcome. It's nice to be among the cool kids :)

Ha! I just saw your profile. I had no idea before I posted that age limit. You're definitely a kid, Mike. ;)

Hey Zackery! I'm new, too. I resemble that "geek and fanatic" comment, so nice to meet you.
