Haha. I go more like "I knew I shouldn't have done that on Black Friday..."
I'm excited to see the movie. I know there are a lot of complaints about the small stuff that the filmmakers/writers changed in the movie, but I'm more interested in the heart of the story rather than the technicalities. As long as they get the story and the message right, I'll be happy. I also like the cast they picked. Woody Harrelson in anything is going to be good. Hollywood always changes the book when making a film, & they also have to get the approval of the writer. So, if Suzanne Collins is cool w/the changes, I am too. Again, I care more about the message--love, courage, family, valor, etc.

Well, I feel that life is too short to sweat the small stuff. I don't want to spend my time being upset over something that a) I can't control & b) that pales in comparison to other things going on in my life...& in the world. But to each his own, right? That's the beauty of opinions. They are not set in stone and are always open for discussion.

Really? That's cool. Poetry is awesome.
We just started the poetry unit in English. I'm not much for meaningful writing. I barely made it through annotating "I'm Nobody, who are you?" by Emily Dickinson, and that one's only two stanzas.

I also fail at writing them. Here is my haiku of the day, and all days forthcoming:

I LOVE Emily Dickinson! But, poetry isn't for everyone. It's a dying form, which makes me super sad. :( For those of you who don't like traditional poetry, check out Jed Gustafson (a.k.a. Rock Star Poet). He's in a rock band, and he writes cool poetry.
