i think it was pretty nice. i went to the set in north carolina where i live, and they were doing a good job. of course, i thought district 12 would be a little more gray, but they are using the actual wildlife, so it was going to be hard. but i liked it.

My complaints (beware, I have a lot)
Katniss’s hair is freaking black. NOT BROWN. BLACK. Page eight of The Hunger Games.
Katniss’s interview dress looks like a red tarp. I’m sorry, isn’t it supposed to be jeweled? And flowing, and heavy? Not a tight little wraparound thing with a bow to make it look nice.
MAH CINNA IS NOT BLACK. Sorry. I have nothing against black people, but Cinna is not black. Lenny Kravitz is not Cinna. (continues ranting for several hours)

Isn’t Jennifer Lawrence a bit…old to be playing across from Josh Hutcherson?
Except for Rue, none of the actors will ever be my mental characters. (although I’m willing to make a tiny exception for Cato ;))
The districts’ people are not well-fed movie stars. They are half-dead starving people that will do anything to survive.
Effie wears a spring green suit to the reaping, not a dress.
What is up with the fence around District Twelve? That’s not a fence, it’s a couple pieces of wire. I could hurdle over that thing. Where’s the twenty-foot-high monster that Katniss faces in Catching Fire?
I hated Liam Hemsworth in The Last Song.
Lenny Kravitz will never, ever, ever be my Cinna. I may have said that already.

in the book i thought that she had brown hair but she was a lot shorter than the person playing her...i thought that until i rembered that she was 16.....(reading the series for the 3rd time....)
She is described more like me, actually exactly. The actor is like 22 or 23 anyway...akward...
