I completed V is for Vengeance and am now reading The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie. I have about 10 books on my "currently reading" list, so I really need to finish a few. Dee and Nadine, I am glad I am not alone! I have quite a few books that I am reading right now! I don't even know if I can list them all without having to look at the stack beside my bed! I like doing this because then whichever one I am in the mood to read, is the one I grab since I usually have multiple genres going at the same time. I end up finishing whichever one grabs me the most - hence the ongoing stack as I start new ones because of not feeling like picking up something I've already started!These Read-a-thons and Mini-Challenges really help me clear up my stacks, though, which is one of the many reasons I just love them!

I am trying to limit my books to three at a time with different genres (and if possible not all three either in English or German, but mixed). BUT... I can't say I have full control. Books can be quite slutty and totally offer themselves to me, throwing themselves onto me.

I didn't get started yet, we had a revival all weekend and I have been busy the last two days. I'm getting started tonight. I have a few books I want to get read.

I liked the first half of the book. By the last 100 or so pages I was just waiting for it to end. I think that it was probably better the way it was originally published. Online, few chapters every once in a while. Probably made you want to read it more. I think the movie is supposed to be released this year.

I think it is the same thing as watching more than one show in a day.
I also love these challenges and read-a-thon for the same reasons.

I took a break from fiction today and read the Lake Eden Cookbook, which is awesome, because it intertwines recipes with the characters and plot from Fluke's Lake Eden novels. Now I will have to get busy and actually make all the recipes I just read through, because I am drooling over this book! Some very funny things in it - I put more details in my review on my 'Read' shelf if anybody is interested.

I still am not sure what I thought about Night Circus - I liked it, but I don't even know if I can describe why, since I generally don't care much for fantasy. As for Swamplandia, one of my students read it and has been after me to read it for several months. I saw him a few days ago, and I promised him that I would read it this week during the Read-a-thon. He really liked it. I'll see what I think since I have barely started it. I am getting more hooked on the Flavia de Luce one, so I will probably finish that one first.
